North American manga publisher Yen Press has announced that the simul-publication of Hinowa ga CRUSH! will launch on Monday with chapter 1. From Akame ga KILL! writer Takahiro comes a brand new series described as, "In the war torn Wakoku, Hinowa is aiming to be the hero of her turbulent times! The curtain rises on this chronicle of civil war…" More after the jump.
The fifteenth and final volume of Akame ga Kill! is out in Japan today, and there's news of the follow-up project. This time writer Takahiro teams up with artist Strelka for Hinowa ga Yuku! (Assault), debuting in the July issue of Big Gangan on June 26th.
Last week, Square Enix released the fifth volume of Takhiro and Kei Toru's Akame Ga Kill! Zero prequel manga, and, a few days later, the September issue of home manga magazine Big Gangan. Since fan-favorite Chelsea graced the cover of the collection, BGG celebrated by offering a bonus, second cover with the assassin in a maid outfit. Get a look after the jump.
From Akame Ga Kill!! comes a 1/9 scale prepainted resin cast figure of popular antagonist Esdeath, seated, as depicted in pin-up art. Maker Pulchra notes that they're offering a look at the charms of the empire's mightiest general's hardened body often, hidden by her uniform. Sculpted by Moineau, she stands 15.3cm. Orders launch March 10th at 19,980yen, but limited quantities are being produced, so you might have to hunt around.
