  • FUNimation "Baccano!" Rights Scheduled To Expire

    Streaming and home video rights expire on February 8th

    FUNimation's forum has indicated that their streaming rights and home video rights rights to Baccano! expire on February 8th. The 2007 Brain's Base anime adapts the mostly 1930s-set light novel series by Durarara!!'s Ryōgo Narita. More after the jump.

  • Yen Press Moves Towards "Baccano!" Simul-Publication

    Other simul-pub plans include Jun Mochizuki's new vampire series "Memoir of Vanitas"

    Yen Press has announced that they are releasing early chapters of the new Baccano manga adaptation, driving towards a simulpublication. Shinta Fujimoto, author of sci-fi crime manga Red Raven adapts Durarara!! author Ryōgo Narita's series about criminals and killers, set in the 1930s but jumping back to the 18th century and forward to the 21st.

    Shinta Fujimoto adapts Ryōgo Narita's ongoing light novel series

    Square Enix's Young Gangan has announced the plans for a new Baccano manga adaptation. Shinta Fujimoto, author of sci-fi crime manga Red Raven adapts Durarara!! author Ryōgo Narita's series about criminals and killers, set in the 1930's but jumping back to 18th century and forward to the 21st.
