  • Crackle Set To Stream "Robotech"

    This includes Harmony Gold's localization of Tatsunoko-produced mecha anime as well as the original "Shadow Chronicles"

    On May 15th, Sony's streaming service Crackle is set to introduce Robotech to their library of anime. This includes Harmony Gold's localization of Tatsunoko-produced mecha anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA as well as the original Shadow Chronicles.   • Crackle Announces Anime Channel

    Ad-supported channels work like linear TV

    Sony's streaming platform Crackle has announced a slate of upcoming plans that include 2017 stop-motion animated comedy SuperMansions, executive produced by and starring Bryan Cranston as a middle-aged hero working with Millennials, and a series of new "multiplex channels." The free, ad-supported network is comprised of seven distinct destinations spanning categories including Anime, Comedy, Action, Drama, Thriller, Sports and Fandom.

  • Crackle Streams "TekkonKinkreet"

    Unique Anime Movie Now Available Online

    Sony Pictures' Crackle has begun offering the anime movie TekkonKinkreet streaming through YouTube and Hulu.  Beyond its distinctive look, the Studio 4°C adaptation of Taiyo Matsumoto's heady urban crime fighting manga is notable for being directed and scripted by Americans Michael Arias and Anthony Weintraub.  Check it out after the jump.

    Two Sci-Fi Anime Hit Sony's Streaming Service

    Sony's streaming service Crackle has added Ultraviolet: Code 044 and Viper's Creed.  Both 12 episode sci-fi series can be watched online for free in English dubbed format.
