  • Dark Horse To Explore The Future With Hatsune Miku In New Manga

    Thee team behind the Overlord manga adaptation tell the story featured in producer marasy's 2014 hit

    North American comics, manga and art book publisher Dark Horse has announced new plans for their latest Hatsune Miku manga license. The first of two Hatsune Miku: Future Delivery volumes is scheduled for October 4, 2017 release with writer Satoshi Oshio and artist Hugin Miyama, the team behind the Overlord manga adaptation, telling the story featured in producer marasy's 2014 hit.   • Dark Horse to Release "Wandering Island" Manga

    Collection will be released in July, 2016

    Dark Horse has informed Anime News Network of its plans to release Spirit of Wonder author Kenji Tsuruta's Wandering Island. The collection will be released July 19th, 2016 with eight interior color pages for $14.99. More after the jump.

  • Dark Horse Manga Editor Discusses "I Am A Hero"

    The 512-page Volume 1, the first in an ongoing series, will be released in North America on April 6, 2016

    Last weekend, North American publisher Dark Horse announced a slate of new manga licenses at Anime Central that included Kengo Hanazawa’s award-winning zombie manga I am a Hero, set to be released in special omnibus volumes that will each collect two of the original Japanese books. Dark Horse Manga Editor Carl Horn has shared his thoughts on this manga, which has sold over four million copies in Japan and is slated to be adapted into a live-action feature.

    Dark Horse Comics officially has the conclusion of one of the North America's longest-running manga series solicited with Blade of the Immortal Volume 31: Final Curtain officially planned for April 14. Beyond that, Amazon has the penultimate, 36th volume of Gantz listed for August, and the end of Oh My Goddess! coming with volume 48 in October. More after the jump.

  • Viz Manga Comes to Comixology, CLAMP Comes to Dark Horse Digital

    500 volumes of manga added to Comixology while "Cardcaptor Sakura" and "Clover" hit Dark Horse Digital

    Viz has announced that they will begin offering their manga on the digital, cloud based comiXology platform using its right-to-left "Manga Fixed Format." The publisher's manga is also offered on their own platform, Nook, iBookstore, Kindle and Google Play. Meanwhile Dark Horse has begun offering CLAMP titles on their digital platform starting with Clover and Card Captor Sakura. More after the jump.

  • Dark Horse Schedules "Legal Drug" Omnibus and "New Lone Wolf and Cub"

    New volume of "Hellsing" creator Kohta Hirano's "Drifters" is also scheduled for March

    Hiroki Endo's violent sci-fi manga Eden: It's an Endless World ended its Japanese run 2008. It's critically acclaimed. It made the New York Time's best seller list.
