    Over on NHK World Japan and here on Crunchyroll, the Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House TV anime has been airing monthly with English subtitles, but on Japanese TV, the adaptation begins in October. Ahead of the NHK-E airing, a new trailer was released today previewing the TV broadcast's new opening song, which can be heard after the jump!

    Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House opens its doors to NHK-E in October, airing on TV for the first time to round off the rest of its episodes.   • NHK World Japan to Air Maiko-san chi no Makanai-san TV Anime in February 2021

    The award-winning manga series from Aiko Koyama is produced by Japan's national broadcaster

    NHK World Japan revealed on their Facebook page today that the previously announced Maiko-san chi no Makanai-san (A Caretaker at the Maiko Lodge) TV anime would be streaming on the online service in February 2021, followed by a Japanese broadcast on NHK-E sometime in Fall 2021.
