  • Act-Age Stage Play, Night on the Galactic Railroad, Has Been Canceled in Light of the Arrest of Manga Writer

    The audition for the lead has also been canceled

    The writer for Act-Age, Tatsuya Matsuki, was arrested on August 8 by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police on the suspicion of sexually assaulting two junior high school girls. Because of this, Weekly Shonen Jump swiftly canceled the ongoing series, and it was announced today that the stage show based on the manga, Act-Age: Night on the Galactic Railroad, has also been canceled.   • Tatsuya Matsuki & Shiro Usazaki's Act-Age Manga Gets Stage Play Adaptation in 2022

    The remote audition for the protagonist Kei Yonagi begins today

    Japanese talent agency Horipro announced today that a stage play adaptation of Tatsuya Matsuki (story) and Shiro Usazaki (art)'s Act-Age manga is slated for 2022.
