The first chapter of "Kuromukuro: A Ghost at a Speed of 290,000 km per second," an official sequel novel to P.A.WORKS' 2016 TV anime Kuromukuro, will be published digitally from the production company's own e-book specialized label "P.A.BOOKS" on June 1. Toyama-based anime production company P.A.WORKS announced on April 20 that it will launch its own e-book specialized label "P.A.BOOKS" in May. Starting novels based on its three original TV anime series, true tears (2008), TARI TRAI (2012), and Kuromukuro (2016), the label also plans to publish novelizations and comicalizations of its future original anime before it airs. Audio-visual company Pony Canyon has announced home video release details for mecha-action animation series KuroMukuro. The series was produced as a 15 th anniversary project by P.A. Works and was directed by Tensai Okamura (The Seven Deadly Sins, Darker than Black, Blue Exorcist). Pre-orders for Limited Collector’s Edition Vol.1 and Vol.2 are available on RightStuf with releases scheduled for July 1 st and July 14th, 2017 respectively.

The first half of P.A Works' 15th anniversary mecha series Kuromukuro debuted on Netflix's streaming series July 4th following its spring Japanese run. That pattern continues as the complete second half, which was broadcast in Japanese this summer, will be presented to international audiences with a complete drop on October 10th. The current featured anime series at Tokyo Anime Center is P.A.Works' first original robot TV anime Kuromukuro that premiered in Japan this April.
