    As Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train creeps closer and closer to the all-time number one spot on the Japanese box office chart, the current holder, Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away, moved the goalpost today, with distributor Toho adding 880 million yen (US$8.45 million) to the films previous lifetime gross.     Tokyo-based artist Granicoph has published two scenes inspired by the classic 1984 anime film

    Tokyo-based 3DCG artist / character modeler Granicoph has used 3DCG rendering to re-create two iconic scenes from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the classic 1984 pre-Studio Ghibli / Hayao Miyazaki anime theatrical film, and has published these scenes to Sketchfab, a platform which specializes in artwork designed to be experienced in augmented reality or virtual reality environments.     The official website for Studio Ghibli announced today that four selected anime films will be screened in Toho's 372 theaters across Japan from June 26. The lineup are Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984/Hayao Miyazaki), Princess Mononoke (1997/Hayao Miyazaki), Spirited Away (2001/Hayao Miyazaki), and Tales from Earthsea (2006/Goro Miyazaki).     42-year-old kabuki star Kikunosuke Onoe V, who is starring in the ongoing kabuki play adaptation of internationally acclaimed Japanese anime director Hayao Miyazaki's early manga work Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, fell from the flower way in the afternoon show on Sunday, December 8.
