Madhouse's 2014 Parasyte -the maxim- anime adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki's horror sci-fi manga is set to debut on Toonami next Saturday at 1 AM ET, and to prepare for the October 3rd premiere, this week, the Adult Swim programming block ran a look at what to expect. Check it out after the jump.

Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima has teamed up with his Kodansha cousin Parasyte for a one-shot crossover manga, published in the October issue of Afternoon, out in Japan August 25th. "Lucy and Migi" is the ninth story in the series of Neo Parasyte homages to Hitoshi Iwaaki's horror sci-fi series. More after the jump.

Adult Swim's Toonami block is set to get a bit of sci-fi horror as Parasyte -the maxim-, Madhouse's 2014 adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki's 1988-95 manga, was revealed at Anime Expo. The series, continuing Swim's new relationship with Sentai Filmworks that sees Akame Ga Kill debut in August, is planned for a fall launch. More after the jump.
