    The Kunio-kun series'—best known in English for NES entry River City Ransom—glorious return to the west is set to continue this summer, and it'll be doing so with a medieval fantasy RPG twist. Originally released in Japan as 2014's Nekketsu Mahou Monogatari, Natsume announced plans to bring River City: Knights of Justice to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in North America and Europe. More after the jump.

    Collection of 11 games hits Nintendo 3DS in Japan this winter

    Following up on the recent debut of a new game in the Kunio-kun series—the most famous localized entry of which is River City Ransom for NES—Arc System Works will be publishing a full Famicom collection on Nintendo 3DS in Japan. Kunio-kun Nekketsu Complete Famicom Series includes all 11 games that appeared on Famicom, and you can see a sample in the promo after the jump.

  • "River City: Tokyo Rumble" Brings the Fight to 3DS This September

    Entry in the "Kunio-kun" series originally launched in Japan in 2013

    Natsume previously announced plans to bring 2013 Kunio-kun game Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun SP: Rantou Kyousoukyoku to Nintendo 3DS in the west as River City: Tokyo Rumble. According to a recent update, that day is on the not-so-distant horizon, and it's currently locked in for a release in North America and Europe sometime this September. Read on for more.

    2013 "Kunio-kun" game comes over as "River City: Tokyo Rumble"

    Natsume teased something River City Ransom related this week, and now we have the official announcement. 2013's Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun SP: Rantou Kyousoukyoku is coming to Nintendo 3DS in North America as River City: Tokyo Rumble, and it will be one of Natsume's playable games at this year's E3.
