Ritz Kobayashi's popular mahjong manga Saki, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, will publish seven new books at once on January 22, 2021, including the anniversary art book "Saki Art Collection: Ritz Kobayashi illustrations." The official website and Twitter for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Saki Achiga-hen episode of Side-A, a spin-off series of Ritz Kobayashi's mahjong-themed manga Saki, today revealed its 20 cast visuals in their costume. The protagonist Shizuno Takakamo is confirmed to be played by 14-year-old Hiyori Sakurada. Check out the live-action version characters after the jump!
The plans for the live-action adaptation of Ritz Kobayashi's Saki Achiga-hen episode of Side-A have been officially announced. The format and timing will be similar to the first live-action adaptation of the moe mahjong manga. A four episode live-action drama in December 2017 will be followed by a movie in January 2018.
