On November 22nd, 2015, the cast of the winter 2014 anime reunited for a talk presented with an all-night marathon screening. There was another all-night marathon on November 22nd, 2016, in time for Blu-ray collection of the anime. On November 22nd, 2017, even though Tachi's manga has now wrapped up, there will be a third event.

It's finally time to ring down the curtain on Sakura Trick, a yuri-themed romantic comedy 4 panel comic by Tachi, because the series has published its final chapter in the October 2017 issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine, which was released in Japan on August 16, 2017. Plans have been announced to end Tachi's yuri comedy manga strips Sakura Trick in the October issue of magazine Manga Time Kirara Miracle, set to be released August 16th. The eighth and final volume of the 2011 series will then follow on September 27th.
It's been kind of a running gag in the anime Twitter community that despite lasting one season in winter 2014, the anime adaptation of Tachi's yuri comedy Sakura Trick has stayed active. It's at least Tweeted its name or a character birthday every month or so. In May, it had good reason to be active with the launch for pre-orders for a Blu-ray collection. And, with that release coming up on November 22nd, it has another excuse.

As the Sakura Trick anime ended, character goods maker Cospa scheduled some merchandise tie-ins with the yuri series. A "natural" t-shirt, describing the color and central relationship, is joined by a "don't stop my love" tote bag, and cushion cover, with the items scheduled for June release. Sentai Filmworks has announced the license of Sakura Trick. This romantic slice-of-life comedy from original creator Tachi is directed by Kenichi Ishikura (ef: tale of melodies, Hidamari Sketch) with music by Ryosuke Nakanishi (Majikoi – Oh! Samurai Girls, Kuroko’s Basketball), character designs by Kyuta Sakai (Humanity has Declined, Strawberry Marshmallow) and animation production by Studio DEEN (Fate/stay night, Rozen Maiden – Zurückspulen).
