Sakura-Con, scheduled for April 14-16 at the Washington State Convention Center, as announced plans to host Kenichi Sonoda as a guest of honor. Sonoda is best known as the character designer for the Bubblegum Crash/Bubblegum Crisis series, as well as the designs for Gall Force, Otaku no Video, and Riding Bean. As the event explains, his iconic art style has definitely helped shape the look of various 80s/90s era anime.
