The B.S.B.B. ("Big Steel Battalion Box") Mk II is a fan-made immersion cockpit designed to recreate the experience of piloting the fickle, extremely complicated "Vertical Tanks" of the 2002 Xbox game, Steel Battalion. Hit the jump to check out the box in action.
With the 40-button controller no longer in the picture, some may wonder just how they'll be operating their Vertical Tanks in Capcom's Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. Thankfully, we now have a tutorial trailer to teach us the finer points of motion-controlled warfare. Video after the jump!
It may not require dropping $200 on a monster, 40-button peripheral, but Capcom's Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor looks like it controls in its own interesting way. Powered by Xbox 360's Kinect motion control sensor, Heavy Armor has been dated for June 19 in North America, and June 22 in Europe. New trailer and more past the break.
One would think Capcom and From Software's Steel Battalion would lose all of its charm along with the 40-button controller it was released with in 2002. Capcom has a new twist with Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, though: Kinect motion controls. See them in action after the jump.
