    Back in January, between the runs of the TV anime adaptation of Kazuhiro Fujita's supernatural action Ushio and Tora, Capcom's Nintendo 3DS game Monster Hunter Generations presented a collaboration, offering players the titular hero's powered-up hair and his powerful yokai-slaying Beast Spear. American gamers didn't get MHG until July, so, it's this September that Capcom is offering them a chance to get that free DLC.

    39-episode run draws near its conclusion

    Retelling a 33 volume action manga over 39 episodes, Ushio and Tora has been an ambitious anime production. Both publicly, on social media, and behind the scenes, series author Kazuhiro Fujita has been a strong supporter of the effort. Offering a look at how he encouraged the people laboring on the series, animator Takahiko Abiru shared sketches Fujita provided MAPPA and Studio VOLN crew.

    Tokuma Japan has posted a 90-second short music video for four-member Japanese rock band LUNKHEAD's upcoming 15th single "Kessen Zenya (The Night Before the Final Battle)."     Last 13th volume is set to release on September 28, 2016

    As reported, purchasers of all 13 DVD or Blu-ray volumes of the ongoing 39-episode TV anime adaptation of Kazuhiro Fujita's Ushio to Tora/Ushio and Tora manga will get a 20cm-tall super detailed Tora figure inspired by the first encounter scene between the protagonist Ushio and the yokai in the first episode.     No fooling, supernatural action series Ushio and Tora returns for a third cour on April 1st.     It was confirmed at the advance screening event for the 27th episode of the Ushio and Tora TV anime in Tokyo yesterday that 48-year-old voice actress Megumi Hayashibara, best known as Rei Ayanami in the Evangelion franchise, is cast as the series' main villain Hakumen no Mono.
