  • Voice Actor for Kagami from "Kuroko's Basketball" Recovering From Surgery

    Ono Yūki revealed his accident on his twitter

    On his own Twitter account, popular voice actor Yūki Ono (Kagami Taiga from Kuroko's Basketball, Inuzuka Kyuma from Valvrave the Liberator) revealed that he is recovering from a recent surgery from an accident that broke his left collarbone. Read more after the jump.

  • "Valvrave" Asks Fans Unique Survey Questions

    More than just "who's your favorite character?"

    Valvrave introduced its male lead and one of the female leads with a scene in which the two are engaged in an eating contest. This not really how you'd expect Sunrise's to launch their latest standard bearer of Gundam-style mecha anime. From that point on, you could always count on Valvrave to be at least a bit skewed.   • Official Site Reveals Name of "Valvrave" Fairy

    Plus swimsuit L-elf and other goodies

    You might know her as the Valvrave fairy or VVV-tan, but while it's still describing her as the mysterious girl in the Valvrave 1 unit, the official site for Valvrave has now revealed that the girl's name is Pino. Meanwhile, her brother in the Valvrave 2 is Prue. More after the jump.

    Mecha anime to return in October

    It was amusing to see the official Valvrave Twitter account promote season one's final episode with the same screenshot that fans were using to express their stunned bewilderment with the episode. Needless to say, there's plenty of anticipation for October's second season.     Blitzendegen! fascist antagonists get focus of shoujo spin-off

    Blitzendegen! A new Valvrave, from the perspective of the Dorssian militaristic  antagonists is launching in the August issue of shoujo manga magazine Sylph (home of Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Debut), on sale in Japan June 22nd. Ichiya Sazanami (Ginyuu Gikyoku - Black Bard) illustrates Valvrave: Uragiri no Rakuin with A-Drei serving as the series' lead. Get a look after the jump.

  • "Valvrave" Site Offers Characters' Social Media Icons

    Six character WIRED icons shared

    Back when the character designs for Valvrave were revealed, I joked that they looked like they should be blogging on Tumblr. So, I was pleased and amused to see social media play a role in the anime itself. Along these lines, in honor of passing 20,000 followers on Twitter, the series' official site has shared the in-anime social network WIRED icons for six cast members. Grab them after the jump.
