Similar to the anime but faster pace
Well, i was pleasantly surprised that there would be an actual show. If you watched the anime then you will be used to norbunga's antics. he does not realixze that he has been thrown back in time until he is faced with the horrors of actually being in a war where his life is being threatned. While i am excited that this dhow came out I am a little disappointed that it starts off rather quickly. ...

    Perfect adaptation of the series.
Shun Oguri does an excellent job as Nobunaga. The first episode is over an hour long and very entertaining. Nobunaga Concerto is a faithful adaptation of the anime and a great show for all ages. If you liked the anime then you'll find this series enjoyable. The best drama of the season, in my opinion.

    Amazing adaptation for this series
Once again, this story is amazing. And if you haven't watched the anime or read the manga i highly recommend reading/watching one of those before watching the drama. As already said, it is a faster pace drama that quickly recaps some of the early episodes but really sets in a better foundation to what they mean by Nobunaga being a fool, but a wise fool at that. I highly like the changes they made, ...

Not as good as the anime
I read a few volumes of the manga and love the anime adaptation . And so I was really excited when I read there was a live drama version . The first 5 minutes were good but when I watched the next 5 minutes and so forth , I really didnt like what I was seeing, I was very disappointed.
The pace was very fast and it felt very fragmented, nothing was connecting . Him wearing his clothes didnt ...

    Great story and morals
This is my favorite Japanese drama I have seen. I have not seen the anime.
The humor is funny and the morals are better then any Japanese film iv'e ever seen. They use history to give example of where they came from and where they are going.

    I recommend this.

    Great Live-Action Adaption
So far this has been fantastic. It moves quite a bit faster than the anime but the acting is good, the choreography is nice and the sets are well done. I am enjoying this show quite a bit, though I may be a bit biased as I was a huge fan of the anime.

Stands on its own two feet.
I thoroughly enjoyed the anime version of Nobunaga Concerto when it came out. I hadn't seen anything like it before and thought it was an interesting spin on Nobunaga's life. When I saw that a drama adaptation was going to be streamed on CR, I figured I'd give it a shot (considering I'd been dipping my fingers into some of dramas on here anyway). Boy, was I glad that I did. I expected it to follow ...

pretty good interpretation/rendition of the actual mystery ....
the drama itself is a pretty good interpretation/rendition of the actual mystery of the HONNOJI INCIDENT.
the drama could only go as far as the mystery within the real historic event could take it.

Makes you think if time travel (not scientifically but a natural occurrence) does occur - or was it all just a dream?!?!

    Very enjoyable! Well done adaption!
I've seen many variations of this theme but I have to say that this is one of the better ones. For the most part it stays true and in the spirit of the real life events of Nobunaga. For the viewer who has never heard or studied Nobunaga and his vision will still enjoy this adaptation. The blend of drama and comedy are well done; never going overboard in either direction. A definite "must ...
