A Retelling of Old Fairytales in a Modern Setting
This anime is amazing. But it is also one of the rare few anime where I actually preferred the dub over the sub. The 5 star review is for the Dubbed version not found on Crunchy. I would have to drop my review down to 3 or 4 stars if I was only reviewing this subbed version. Which is weird since I usually prefer subbed versions.

    Glad CR got this title

I usually really dislike fairy tale "retellings" because they're so overdone and repetitive. Somehow Okami-san manages to keep the characters and stories fresh. Moderately enjoyable, but underwhelming in every aspect
I really wanted to like this anime. Unfortunately, I have a hard time recommending it. If I had to describe it in a single word, it would be underwhelming.

The show starts with a cute premise of relating characters in the show to fairy-tail characters, with Okami-san (wolf girl), her best friend Ringo (little red riding hood), and... a bunch of other characters that only get moderate ...

if your a true fan :D
if you like toradora and shakugan no shana this anime is for you it is great funny and has alot going on not your typical anime with school arena arks plot behind every corner its good.

it doesn't take long to see the similarity in art style and the since of humor the show gives off that you would normally see in a show of toradora or Shakugan no shana
