The same 4 panel adaptation you are used to, done to that standard.
So every season it seems there are a few 4 panels that get these short bite series, some have plot, some don't but all of them pretty much are the same minus the overall quirk of the characters. If you are looking for anything new, this won't fill a void, but if you are into short cutesy anime that doesn't take any amount of focus to watch, you have found it!

On the other hand if you for some ...

Even for a short anime, it sucks
I'm not a fan of short anime like that but some can sometimes have a plot, and cute characters. Like Chi's sweet home made probably for kids (or not?) and enjoyable for everybody. But here... it's just pathetic, it's short but still a waste of time. Don't bother, the girls are not cute, they just love bread, and pastries and.. that's it.

    Literally just girls and bread
There's not much else to say. It's very quick and cute, but it's just girls talking about bread, eating bread, and pretending to ask each other out. At the very end there's another girl (top right on promo picture) in the hallway carrying a large baguette or something.

To sum up: "Girls and bread. Girls eating bread talking about bread for three minutes straight." Go ahead. You can quote me.

So cute it will make you hungry!
I don't normally like shorts, they waste half the run time with just the opening, and then just as the characters start talking- the credits roll! No pun intended... this one is just a very weird and cute short that takes Cute Girls Doing Things™ to an extreme- this one has a fetish for BREAD! That's right. Something about girls eating sweets and yummy things makes some people smile so, I guess ...

Cute JK with a Bread Dependency
They know what they like - bread. They jones for it in all its forms. The cute 4-koma comes to life in a cute anime; replete with some cultural education about a staple of high school life. Check out the serious competitive streak of Yakitate! Japan for a different perspective on the staple of the Western diet...

Worth the 3.5 minutes if you approach it without expectations or reservations!

Not my thing! Rather watch JK Meshi
I've actually quite enjoyed watching many of the short animes available here. Pan de Peace...does not fall into this category. Look, I like seeing characters geek out about their favorite things as much as the next person (maybe more) but this takes it all new and rather disturbing levels. Bread is just not that interesting...but the characters make it the most interesting thing both intentionally ...

Cute 3 min slice of life without much substance
I usually like short slice of life to watch between other shows in the season.
This one almost fits the bill, but ultimately ended up being kind of boring. The characters are cute and they like bread. The end.

We ended up not making it all the way through this one because we just got bored of it. It wasn't even that funny. The characters were a little tropey and ultimately forgettable.

    I'm ...

  • A Slice of Life or A Slice of Loaf ?
This Anime is built up around 2 things:

    1. Bread

    2. Girls that like bread.

It's what you expect of a slice of life anime based around the concept of girls chatting over some bread and tea (or milk). It has it's fair share of drama and the more you watch it the more addictive it becomes. So if you want a anime that is short, packed with sweet things that will make you visit your local ...

Rather Plain, even for a short series.
Nothing special is really done with the bread trope. All the girls like bread and talk about bread, but that's it. Other than that there's nothing unique about this series whatsoever. The girls all fill their own stereotypical niche and interact in ways you would expect. There's very little character development and even less actual plot. It doesn't even teach you about bread since all the girls ...
