  • Quite an enjoyable anime
It is a good anime, with cute guys and a strong heroine. The plot is a bit... rough, in my opinion but, I believe it could be salvaged if there is a season 2. Though a bit rushed at the end, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Hoping for a season 2, nonetheless!

  • kidnapping is normal apparently...
I originally was looking forward to this show. I liked the idea of these classic monsters in the modern world surviving and blending in all the while having their own business.

But apparently the main character Ton, never blinks an eye at her friend being kidnapped repeatedly and missing and2 enjoys herself with her new friends more then anything. The show goes sideways with the levels of no ...

  • wasted potential anime
i really started liking the anime when i started but by the end the characters did nothing but paint by number and it fell apart at the seams. The story line start off being original but they start to many threads for them to finish then they never finish the ones they hold on too. i would suggest you skip it. it a failed attempt at best.

  • Four pretty boys help the great granddaughter of their original mistress find her kidnapped yuri girlfriend.
The title really says it all. The plot is barely more than Mario trying to save Princess Peach, with a grab bag of western folklore pasted over it, and some London set pieces. There isn't anything about this show that is deep or innovative or complex, nor it it trying to be. It's just anime candy, and a whole lot of fun.

You should watch the first episode, if only to identify the cosplay ...

  • Strong characters with the familar and new
I enjoyed the series as a lazy watch. Nothing to complex with a lot of interesting backstories. Each character didn't really have a unique personality as they all where the strong male, slightly comical type that has become really common in anime.
I can easily see another season or two with further character development and new villains.

  • Rather average series.
Most of the main characters were OK but Shinyao seems to draw the short end of the character development stick. The villains were interesting enough though I think there is more then meets the eye with Va Helsin 13th. She seemed to have no real passions and for someone who was coming to London to study cultural anthropology, she showed very little interest in the Umbra culture. And I got it right, ...

    Interesting take on the supernatural.
I actually really like some of the ideas and twists this particular series takes on the supernatural. It's fun to see old characters from folklore re imagined this way. Also, A+ to making a heroine which is not completely annoying for this type of genre. I like that she's capable and not super whiny.

  • Oh you wanted a strong female lead hero? Too bad!
I was pulled to this show because it looked like for once in an anime, we'd get a really cool, strong female hero. That's really what I wanted for a change. The butt kicking heroine with an entourage of friends following her around for a change. At first it looked like it might go that direction.

In the end, however, we never got that. She always fails and falls back on the relying on the men ...

Four Super Powered Guys Stop Tiny Exchange Student from Punching Everything
Ton goes abroad to study, but when her best friend is kidnapped and she enlists her great grandmother's harem to help get her back.

I kind of love how Ton will try to fight anything. Like, her first instinct is to put up her dukes and it takes four super powered guys to stop her from punching God, the devil, and everything in between. If there was supposed to be romance in this I totally ...

    Not a typical otome-genre anime
This series needs more love. This must be the most underrated anime this season.

Don't be fooled-- Yes, there might be some "attraction", but reverse harem is not the focus of this anime.
The focus of this anime is paranormal-action. Yes, that's right, I said it's more of an action story. And the main protagonist isn't a one-dimentional "help me!" heroine. Yes, there is a tea-house, but the ...
