    My favorite anime, bar none.
Psycho-Pass is brilliantly written and beautifully animated. Where other shows try to go deep and philosophical and end up just being nonsense, Psycho-Pass succeeds in staying coherent, grounded, thought-provoking, slick, and stylish all at once, with a varied cast of fleshed-out characters and a lot of gray morality that leaves judgment to the viewer.

And as someone who is easily irritated by ...

Dark, but great, and makes you THINK !
This is a show which will not be easily categorised.
It's pretty dark and set in a distopic future.
It will adress topics like : free-will , determinism, ideal society organisation and many more..

The quality of the graphics is nice. The scenario is deep, but not confusing.
Still, you will need to be attentive and really delve into it.

I strongly suggest you give it a try if this is ...

    Hooked from the start.
This anime had me from the first episode. The story line is unique and the art work is great. Loved every minute of it. The characters are developed well and you get really attached to them. Let's hope Crunchyroll brings on the second season and the movie!

Fun show, but it has a lot of little flaws
I think most people looking for sci-fi action will be very pleased with this show.

The animation and designs are pretty on point even if it's set in a familiar world. The action sequences are fun to watch and the story is interesting even if the sci-fi ultimately derails itself just on how ludicrous some of it becomes.

Most of the characters are pretty good, but some are neglected. One of ...

    Have Characters of Unique Personality
(I have watched Psycho-Pass 2, but this review does not cover it.)

The show starts with some problematic elements, which turn out to be pivots to the main plot. The revelations, which progress smoothly and evenly throughout this season, along with the twists and unique villains, make the show appealing. The turning points are not very predictable, preventing the show from being boring.

    The ...

    Binge-watch All 22 Episodes!
Although there are 33 total episodes (Psycho Pass 1-22 & Psycho Pass2 23-33), the first "season" is awesome, amazing, and gorgeously animated. The plot is tense, dark, violent, and cerebral. The lead character is a newbie to her safety/enforcement squad, and as the story progresses, becomes conflicted in the face of reality-shattering incident after incident. But through every adverse situation, ...

  • Amazing watch, even for those whop don't enjoy this type of genre!
I watched this for a change of pace in the types of genre I usually enjoy. Crime and advanced technology in any type of show, be it anime or actual crime shows, I most times don't enjoy. But Psycho-Pass, despite it being a couple of my least favorite genres, had me bingeing it for weeks on end. Give it a try and I'm sure any mature person would enjoy it. It's definitely not for kids, but any ...

  • #250. Unbelievably insane.
Psycho-Pass is a psychological action cop anime, set in a 22nd century Japan where society is dependent on the Sibyl System. This system is a highly advanced mental state examiner, that dictates many important decisions for the citizens way of life. As for the law enforcement side of things, the system acts as a hair trigger metaphorically and literally, since the system dictates that an unstable ...

  • S1 was great, but S2...
First I'll say S1 deserves 5 stars. But S2 (different director, writer, etc) is just not as good. It brings up good philosophical questions, but its execution and new characters were just bland or unbelievable for the most part. I don't want to say there were plot holes, per se, but a lot of the motives and rationale behind characters seemed forced and kinda generalized.

    S1? Amazing. ...
