Character designer Satsuki Hayasaka illustrates Twitter birthday wishes for manga creator Masaki Andou
The second season of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki is still in-development, but a busy workload isn't enough to keep the TV anime crew from wishing the original manga creator, Masaki Andou, a happy birthday on social media.
August 22nd is Andou's birthday, and the official Twitter feed for the Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki TV anime adaptation decided to wish Andou a happy birthday and an auspicious year with an original illustration (above) of Yatogame and company created by the TV anime's character designer, Satsuki Hayasaka. Happy birthday, Andou-sensei!
Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki is directed by Hisayoshi Hirasawa and features animation production by WORDS in STEREO. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki, and describes the story of the series as follows:
After growing up in Tokyo, high school student Jin Kaito moves to Nagoya where he meets Yatogame Monaka, a fellow student who puts her Nagoya dialect on full display. With her cat-like appearance and unvarnished Nagoya dialect, Yatogame won't open up to him at all. This popular local comedy is increasing the status of Nagoya through observation of the adorable Yatogame-chan!
