Sega Contributes to Nepal Earthquake Relief

Japanese game company makes donation to Red Cross, offers in-game charity purchases


On April 25, 2015, a massive earthquake struck Nepal, resulting in casualties in the tens of thousands. In order to aid in the relief efforts, Japanese video game maker Sega has donated a lump sum of 2,000,000 yen ($16857.16 US) to the Red Cross.


In addition, for a limited time when players make specific in-game purchases, Sega will donate a matching amount to earthquake relief charity. The games running these charity promotions are:
