Viral Campaign Finds Haruhi Suzumiya Placing Craigslist Personals Ad

In addition to simulcasting "Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan," FUNimation rescued license for earlier anime series

At last summer's Otakon, FUNimation announced that they'd picked up the license to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya as well as gag spin-off Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya. This season, they're simulcasting the new spin-off The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan. Well, now it looks like Haruhi herself (or some proxy) is placing personal ads from FUNi's neighborhood (Dallas, Texas specifically) on Craigslist.

The ad reads

In search of aliens, Espers, time travelers and anyone extraordinary.

ATTENTION
In search of aliens, Espers, time travelers and anyone extraordinary. It's obvious you're out there so you might as well make yourself known. Willing to settle for someone transferring into school at an auspicious time, but that's only as a last resort.
The world is constantly changing, but at the same time it stays more or less the same. BOOOOORING!!!
There're so many weird and amazing things out there and no one has time to wait for them to just appear so RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. You'd better be the real thing. There will be tests so no fakers. OR ELSE.
Let's be BFFs FOREVER!
