  • Loved this anime this is great
This anime is a really good anime. Actually one of the best that i have watched here on this site. It follows a girl who can see ghost and her friends. This is a comedy horror, which is something i never really heard of before. I would honestly recommend this to all my friends that watch anime. This is one of my favorites of all time. I wish they could bring the manga into the united states. And ...

  • A solid feel good show that puts a unique twist on slice of life.
Re-Kan! is about a high school girl named Amani Hibiki who can see ghosts. Re-Kan’s episodes don’t really connect and are for the most part individual of each other. However, instead of the ghosts tormenting Amani or trying to make her life miserable, the ghosts protect and love Amani. The plot of the episodes are never very complex, just following the general slice of life standard. Amani’s ...

  • Not horrible, but not great
Characters and jokes are forgettable, no lough out loud moments, main character mainly does weird things in reaction to ghosts nobody else can see and then other people look at her funny or think she is crazy

If I was bored maybe I would watch more of this, but mainly just to see if the perverted cat (who the main character can talk to for some reason) makes any more jokes. He was the funniest ...

  • The lighter side of death
This is an enjoyable anime. The series gets better as it progresses, with more sophisticated themes and plot-lines. However, the artwork, animation, sound effects and voice acting are all average at best. The redeeming value of the show is in the author's vision; it's a pity the production team didn't step up with better quality everything, to match the potential of the author's work. The use of ...

  • Re-Kan should keep going!
Re-Kan is about an outcast girl who can see spirits. She makes friends, netherworld and flesh, through her otherworldly abilities - and helps solves tensions between the living and dead when it rises.

For the premise, it's actually a light-hearted comedy with a touch of serious quotes in the right place at the right time. Not only is it quality, it really engages the viewer. I recommend trying ...

  • Cute and Awesome- Entertaining
This anime had a great description, it lists that it has comedy, and horror. Which reminded me of this Korean movie (spell bound) (2011 movie). Anyways, the main character Amami is just the best and nicest girl. Inoue, is somewhat a reluctant friend (in a funny way) who seems to have common sense. There's no clear plot except that it's a daily thing. It's real good, you'll like it. It has it's ...

Edit: Harmless and sweet. Nothing spectacualr though.
Edit: Episode 3 was surprisingly sweet, so I gave it an extra star.
I get that this is a slice of life anime, so I lower my expectations accordingly, but honestly, I don't feel like anything works. The lead is a very annoying dunce and the rest of the cast is largely forgettable. I can't think of a single joke that made me chuckle, except maybe the quick reference to the grudge. Speaking of that, ...

A Ghostly Comedy with a Side Scare of Drama
Re-Kan! is more than just a two-bit humor show revolving around the main character seeing dead people and contains a decent bit of drama within it spectral form. The characters were likable, but Inoue tended to steal the show more often than not. After awhile it started to feel more as if the show was about Inoue and her having to come to grips with her fear and learn slowly how to be ...

Pure laughter with a hint of spooky
the beginning is a bit spooky and makes you think that's its going to be a bit dark but then the comedy starts and the amount of laughter you will experience is enough to make anyone's day. The main character is funny but the star of this anime will be the pervy cat!

A little spooky without the scare
    End of season revision.

Lovely art, music, and characters start this show off on the right foot for roughly 3 minutes, and then 'Boo!' the ghosts show up. It's all good though, as it's a humorous type of spooky that can bring a smile to your face without sending a chill up your spine. The first episode comes in as an introduction, and then develops into a nice series for the season. It ...
