A little spooky without the scare
    End of season revision.

Lovely art, music, and characters start this show off on the right foot for roughly 3 minutes, and then 'Boo!' the ghosts show up. It's all good though, as it's a humorous type of spooky that can bring a smile to your face without sending a chill up your spine. The first episode comes in as an introduction, and then develops into a nice series for the season. It ...

    Not bad at all......
Well I didint know what to expect and the all girl cast was not calling me but since its has a twist about seeing the spirits of those who past on and stuff is interesting to me so I decided to give it a try.

I am pleasantly surprised. No fanservicy stuff, no annoying big boob characters , thank goodness. The humour is just right. The characters were very engaging and not annoying at all. ...

A girl who can see ghosts...
I can't think of an anime that would easily match up. You might think because it's "horror" that it would be kinda like Another but his seems to have a more solid foothold in comedy and the spooky comes about because of the MC's supernatural interactions. And those interactions are the driving force of this. Not to mention one Pervy cat. The animation kinda reminds me of Bakemonogatari in the way ...

Pure laughter with a hint of spooky
the beginning is a bit spooky and makes you think that's its going to be a bit dark but then the comedy starts and the amount of laughter you will experience is enough to make anyone's day. The main character is funny but the star of this anime will be the pervy cat!

Edit: Harmless and sweet. Nothing spectacualr though.
Edit: Episode 3 was surprisingly sweet, so I gave it an extra star.
I get that this is a slice of life anime, so I lower my expectations accordingly, but honestly, I don't feel like anything works. The lead is a very annoying dunce and the rest of the cast is largely forgettable. I can't think of a single joke that made me chuckle, except maybe the quick reference to the grudge. Speaking of that, ...

  • Cute and Awesome- Entertaining
This anime had a great description, it lists that it has comedy, and horror. Which reminded me of this Korean movie (spell bound) (2011 movie). Anyways, the main character Amami is just the best and nicest girl. Inoue, is somewhat a reluctant friend (in a funny way) who seems to have common sense. There's no clear plot except that it's a daily thing. It's real good, you'll like it. It has it's ...

Meh... too shriek-filled and repetitive for my tastes
I tried watching the first couple episodes and there is just too much of the same. It has its moments, but not enough to warrant me watching anymore.

Fan service in the guise of a cat... um, ok. Funny, but rather overdone. The spacey main character has her charms I suppose, but I didn't get that feeling that hooks me in to a good anime. Too many other choices, so I pass on this one.

    A Spiritual Sleeper Hit
I went into this anime not knowing what to expect. A high-school age protagonist that can see spirits? How many times have I seen that before? What I got wasn't a horror series, but possibly the most feel-good anime of the season.

What really sets this show apart from other supernatural anime is just how accepting everyone (for the most part) is that ghosts not only exists, but are EVERYWHERE! ...

Cute girls, doing cute things...with ghosts
I do have to admit I was expecting this to be useless moe trash, but it surprised me a little. The girls fall into the typical tropes that are to be expected in anime, but the way they interact with each other is still clever enough.

Amami is the sweet and kind hearted main character, but she has to overcome her affinity to ghosts to try and fit in or to try and have a normal day. The ghost ...

A Ghostly Comedy with a Side Scare of Drama
Re-Kan! is more than just a two-bit humor show revolving around the main character seeing dead people and contains a decent bit of drama within it spectral form. The characters were likable, but Inoue tended to steal the show more often than not. After awhile it started to feel more as if the show was about Inoue and her having to come to grips with her fear and learn slowly how to be ...
