  • A funny and (mostly) warm comedy
I don't usually go for shorts but this was an exception, saw it years ago and started re-watching it again recently, still just as funny as I remember it if not more.

The whole "no cops or adults in his town seem to know he exists despite having lived there his whole life" bit gets old fast and even annoying to a certain extent.
That said, the gags and honestly wholesome moments make up for ...

  • Short (Pfft) and Funny
So what happens when you have a tall 11 year old and a short 17 year old? Lots of cops apparently. The first season was filled with a lot of repetitive jokes, so I'm happy the later seasons decided to change it up a bit. It has its charming moments between the tropes and the cliches, and that is why I rated it a 4/5.

  • This one is strange...
(I'm going back and adding reviews to things I watched last time I had a Crunchyroll subscription, so it's been about 2 years since I saw this?)

I'm not entirely sure why I watched this one all the way through. Maybe because I'm super short and people were always thinking I was far younger than I was. So I did identify with the sister. That said, these were so completely unbelievable. The ...

  • Short and sweet, miniseries.
I love short episode anime. Especially when they are well done. Recorder and Randsell never left anything out. The time was used well, and didn't feel like things were missing. This is one of the few that I wish was actually longer because I enjoy the characters.

... A nice series for people short on time.
The artwork was different, but not in a bad or good way nor in a way I could really explain. The series itself is light-hearted yet walking next to a few boundary lines that, if crossed, could make this a more bland ( due to frequently repeated gags/jokes ) or more serious series. The episodes being 3 minutes allows the series to fill a niche. All of these things add up to make this a nice series ...

  • Charming Slice of life
Great yet simple concept that is well executed from multiple angles. Couple of really great laughs and moments. This is a slice of life through and through, if you need plot development, drama, or character development this is probably not for you. Otherwise, definitely worth the hour or so to watch all the episodes.

  • Very Good Capsule Series!
I liked this series even though it was a short-short! Likeable characters and hilarious situations! This would make a great sitcom! I'd like to follow it up in the manga now. One wish list I'd like to see in any future OVA or in the manga is a dream sequence or a speculation bubble of what a normally grown Atsumi might look like!

    Thanks for these Crunchyroll!

  • This was a good show.
I initially was shocked that it was such a short running time per episode. I thought man I can't watch this since there was barely any character development. I hung tight and realized I was hooked. I managed to watch the whole series in two sittings (darn work and school would've been one sitting). It was always funny to see the situations Atsushi would get into. I recommend this show, even if you ...

    Short and sweet series
This series is not for people that like in-depth character development, or ones who it takes a few (normal length) episodes to get into a series.

if you can easily get into shows and like random mini adventures, along with low perversion this is near ideal as a 3 minute show can get. Out of the 3 seasons development happens and its nice and subtle. My favorites are episode 25 and the last ...

  • Recorder and Randsell Review
What to know about the show:
Each episode of this show is three minutes long. So it's very short and you can watch every episode rather quickly. Each episode consists of a short gag using the unusual situation of an elementary aged kid who looks grown up and a high school student who looks like a small child. This is a fun and short series that is nice to watch in between something more ...
