  • Would have been 5 but the ending....
Well as the title suggest this was a really decent nice story. Unfortunately do 2 the horrible last episode which was well extremely terrible it pretty much lose's all the points as it really end's up being so disappointing. It could have just completed the series then but I am almost sure a new writer took over judging by how bad it was. Don't bother with this one.

  • My new favorite show - I can't even...
I can't exactly explain why this show resonated so strongly with me. Just, I guess... who hasn't felt like a total NEET shut in, who wants to avoid work/people/reality/life at at least one point in his or her life?

My heart was with the MC the whole way: smiling, as she found a way to express and empower herself through her MMO; crying (on the inside), as she struggled to overcome her deep ...

  • The only review you should be reading
This is one of the most heartwarming anime I have ever seen. It is absolutely wonderful to watch as its completely hilarious, filled to the brim with touching moments and what's better is that you end up wanting the best for her. The emotion portrayed is incredibly relatable and is very very easy to fall in love with the characters. I cannot recommend this anime enough. 100/10 easily. A masterpeice

  • Fresh & Lighthearted
Though the concept is a tired one the series is surprisingly fresh and charming. The pacing is well done, though I would have liked to see the lead's IRL romance developed more.

Overall it's a fun watch and it makes for a good break w/no heartache.

  • #136. Gear check vs. Reality check.
After eleven years of working her job, 30-year-old Moriko Morioka is unemployed, and is completely satisfied with that. She is now a NEET, spending most of her time at home on her computer playing an MMO, which she uses a male avatar in named Hayashi. In the game she is with a guild and is good friends with it’s members, her best friend in guild being a cute girl with the ingame tag “Lily”. While ...

  • Cute, funny, interesting and suprisingly deep.
It was very very cute. And it was an interesting take on the whole MMO genre that have been popping up lately, I am kinda sick of the whole "Sword Art Online" formula at this point, finally one that mixes both part, the online and real world.

What makes this so great for me personally is the backdrop for the characters, I personally wished they had fleshed it out a bit more, to know what really ...

  • ReLIFE brought me here, and I am very impressed
Yet another mature anime similar to ReLIFE. You hate adulting? Wish you didn't have a bunch of responsibilities thrust onto you all at once? This is a good anime that shows how the main character deals with those particular issues. I was able to relate to Morioka, which helped me truly appreciate this anime. Good, funny characters, and a nice plot. Give this anime a go!

  • Slow First Episode - fantastic build to a heartwarming conclusion
    Mature, funny, heartwarming.

Really wish they had been able to expand this to a full fledged 24 episodes as it does feel like the seccondary characters do not get fleshed out, as it stands though the core story between MoriMori and 'Sakara-Chan' (hah) is fantastic.

Definitely a series that builds with every episode, the first is not particularly funny or good really, but man does it pull up; ...

  • Very sweet and light heart anime
Oh my god What to say about this anime ! It hit me right in the feels Lmao
I as well could relate to the main character so much ! Moriko was a neet who quit her job and with nothing else to do started playing MMO again which starts a whole chain in the story . After meeting a guild and making friends she becomes very good friends with Lily <3 And omg there relationship is just so sweet . I'm ...

  • Doesn't quite land, maybe needed more time?
There's a lot of good pieces here, and the animation and execution was fine, but think missed details in the story made it fall a bit flat in the end. Key, I think, was that I never bought into any of the tension in the middle of the show: The destiny awaiting the protagonists was never in doubt, making the beats pretty predictable.
