Sony Music Labels has confirmed that anison singer Eir Aoi will perform "I will...," the ED theme song for the second cour of the Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld TV anime, which is set o premiere in Japan on April 25. This is the first time in about a year and a half that she has performed a theme song for the SAO anime franchise since "Iris" released in October 2018.

The songs that she has performed for the SAO franchise include:

• "INNOCENCE" (3rd single/November 21, 2012 release/Sword Art Online: Fairy Dance arc OP)
• "Niji no Oto" (6th single/January 1, 2014 release/Sword Art Online: Extra Edition theme song)
• "IGNITE" (7th single/August 20, 2014 release/Sword Art Online II: Phantom Bullet arc OP)
• "Cynthia no Hikari" (March 25, 2015 release/PS3/PS Vita game Sword Art Online: Lost Song OP)
• "Ryusei" (14th single/June 13, 2018 release/Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online OP)
• "Iris" (15th single/October 24, 2018 release/Sword Art Online: Alicization ED)

I sang 'Iris' for the anime's first cour, so I am really happy for this opportunity to sing an ED theme again. The new OP song "Anima" performed by ReoNa is also revealed in the anime's latest PV.
