World Trigger Manga Skips December Chapter to Author's Illness

The next chapter will be published in January

The World Trigger manga won’t be appearing in the next issue of the Jump SQ. magazine due to Daisuke Ashihara’s “poor physical condition.” 

 

The official Twitter account for the World Trigger announced the news today, confirming that while the next chapter will be skipping the January issue of Jump SQ., which will be released on December 2, it is scheduled to be published in the February issue of the magazine, which will hit shelves in Japan on January 4, 2023.

 

 

 

 

The tweet didn't go into detail on Daisuke Ashihara’s health. 

 

This is the fourth break for World Trigger this year due to the health of creator Ashihara with the series not appearing in the February issue, which came out in January, the July issue, which was released in early June, and the August issue, which was released in July.

The first season of the World Trigger TV anime aired from October 2014 to April 2016, totaling 73 episodes, with the second season starting in January 2021, with the third season airing from October 10, 2021, to January 23, 2022. All of the seasons are streaming right here on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:
