  • The Conflicted Ending
The show is now over and it has filled me with conflict which I believe is the best emotion a show can enact.
was happy that there was an ending (cause cliffhangers are the worse, especially at the end of a season) but was sad at the notion of it. It is a blend of satisfaction and despair when a really good story ends.
This show has heart, what else can you ask for.

  • A true work of art 10/10
This anime is one I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. It had me coming back every week. I couldn't recommend this any more than any other anime. The characters are down to earth and relatable. The struggles of every character are so relatable. Everything about this show is fantastic. I'm not even upset that it was only 23 episodes because it felt like the perfect length to keep the plot ...

  • An Immensely Enjoyable Ride (Run)!
This is the first time I've taken the time to review a show on the site as I felt compelled to after watching the finale. This isn't your typical sports anime and you'll find yourself growing attached to the characters as the show takes you through a roller coaster of emotions. If you're looking for a change of pace to the typical anime you've been watching, Run With the Wind should be able to ...

  • Love "Run with the Wind" So Much!
Awesome Anime that just hit home for me. More than just a "sports" anime, it had meaning behind it. A classic in my eyes.
Not going to spoil anything, but the multiple relationships in this show along with the writing just spoke to me. And for any new watcher, the Hakone Ekiden arc will live up to your expectations.

  • Simply amazing, great characters
By far the best anime of the season. The first episodes might be a bit lackluster but that's because it's all building up to a grandiose finale. I've never related\understood every character this much. I don't want to go into spoilers but this is not just a sports anime, its slice of life and drama as well and a god damn lot of character developement. Definetely recommended.

  • Relatable and emotionally deep
Looking for a good uplifting emotion anime. Look no further. The social interactions between each character and the depth at which they connect with each other after each episode is moving. Character develoupment, interactions, and storyline are amazing. If you're looking for a good cry, this can deliver that too. 10/10.

  • REFRESHING! best sports anime in a WHILE
i really like run with the wind.. it’s fresh and is sort of different than other sports anime. i mean it’s a really nice change of pace to see the characters going through struggles even when they all thought they had it. + character development is spot on and takes time to give each one the spotlight and not just a main “prodigy” character! it’s beautiful and the art is perfect. -jinterm

  • Ran away with my heart
This sports anime is by the creators and studio behind Haikyuu! It follows a college track teams growth and pursuit of running in what is every other sports anime equivalence of "nationals". Strong character development, beautiful visuals, and intense dramatic representations of the sport of track/cross country/distance running. highly recommended.

  • Great animation and plot
Unlike many sports anime, the protagonist is fallible (legitimate anger issues). I love the character development and the scenery is gorgeous. When I watch sports anime, rarely am I ever in tune with the surroundings but with Run with the Wind I get a deep sense of how beautiful Japan is. 5 stars all the way!
