I'M NEVER GETTING OFF THE SAMFLAM TRAIN (until the show is over)
The original description of this show did not give much information, but the promotional posters looked cool, so I gave it a shot. When the first episode aired, I was pleasantly surprised. It was funny and entertaining and strangely reminiscent of the movie Kick*ss. I don't want to spoil anything, but there is a certain point in the series where things take a turn for the strange. In fact, there ...

Grounded Characters in a Not So Grounded World
The first impression you get of Samurai Flamenco is the story of a enigmatic young man who aspires to become a superhero in a world where heroes have become obsolete with the help of various friends he gains through his blunders and mishaps. This impression remains for the first few episodes but is soon disappears once the main villain is introduced. Suddenly, very very very ...

    SAMURAI FLAMENCO!!!!!
Although I originally skipped this anime based on the front cover, I'm glad I got around to watching it. Goto and Masayoshi are a good match for this anime. They have complimenting traits. Even Mari is a good addition, hopefully she matures though. Not a huge fan of Red Axe. The quality of anime is really high. Music, storyline, and artwork is fluid and comical. I highly recommend watching this.

    Give this show a chance
After watching the preview and the first episode I would have given the show 3 stars. After watching episode 3 I had to come back and give Samurai Flamenco its 5 stars. Its a much better show than you're lead to believe from the beginning. The character development is exceptional and the twists are just entertaining. Don't expect your standard shonin manga here. Samurai Flamenco is very deep ...

    Samurai Punch to the......
Man O Man what a roller coaster ride of a series. Action action and more action mixed with a side of humor. Like a bacon wrapped jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese. The first 6 episodes played out pretty darn good. Then it got weird for a bit. Like when you find out the girl you been crushing on is actually your 3rd cousin on your mom's side of the family. But since you never met your mom how were ...

Get ready. This will not be a normal ride.
Samurai Flamenco's writers are probably on Crack. In the first few episodes, this does not seem the case, towards the middle and defiantly at the end does it seem like the Writers are on drugs. It starts out with the premise of a young model, Hazama Masayoshi, who wants to be a super hero like the one from his youth of Super Sentai shows. And thus, he makes himself a super hero costume, and ...

    What did I just watch?
If you want to watch a crime series, then this might be up your alley. However, don't come in thinking it will be like Psycho Pass. Yes, this show is serious as far as violence goes and takes its themes quite seriously. Yet, in a sense, this title doesn't take its story seriously at all. Be prepared and willing to have plot twists at the end, middle, and beginning of any (and sometimes ...

Keep an open mind for this crazy anime.
To put it simply this anime is absolutely insane. It starts off with fairly humble roots, being very reminiscent of Kick-Ass, however after just 7 episodes it goes absolutely nuts. The anime has a complete genre shift that might scare a lot of viewers away, but I really recommend you just keep watching. This show kept me watching simply out of curiosity of where it was going next. Keep in mind ...

this is how you do plot twists in an anime....
Samurai Flamenco isn't just incredible because of it's tribute to tokusatsu heroes and tropes, it's incredible due to it's story telling. this was the most unpredictable anime i've ever watched, and that was because of it's constant plot twists and story curves. Samurai Flamenco in terms of story is the best put together anime i've seen thanks to it's unpredictability, with the ...

    Such an amazing series.
Samurai Flamenco was, in my opinion, one of the greatest anime ever made.
It started off appearing to be little more than a Kick-Ass clone, but then it took a sharp left turn, trolled us mercilessly us for 11 episodes and led up to a brilliantly dark final story arc that ended beautifully. I very highly recommend it.
