a big super hero parody anime
episodes 1-6 are pretty serious, then episodes 7-23 are just a bunch of crazy plot twists, i for one love this anime but I must warn you, its not for everyone. If you like super heroes that have really weird villains like power rangers you might like this.

    promising start..... goes downhill
I loved this show when I first started watching. It starts interesting and the characters are likeable. However as many have said, from about episode 7 or so on it changes up completely, and not for the better.
I hung in there and even enjoyed up through episode 10. It could have ended there and been fine. But after 11 and 12 I don't even feel the urge to keep watching.

I'm still holding on that that show will pick itself backup in the end.
The start of the show is absolutely amazing. The character development, the comedy. the satire, everything about it is fantastic.

    From Awesome to nothing
The first couple of episodes were amazing!!, i completely love them!, but unfortunately it went the wrong way. A shy young model trying to be a hero, finding missing umbrellas, catching bad guys.. or telling ppl where the cant smoke, was amazing, funny, enjoyable. Right after the "mecha gorilla", the show lost its essence, turning into a "Power Ranger thing". I will finish the series, but is not ...

Fun with a Great Sense of Humor
I dislike writing a review just one episode into this show but it deserves all the praise it can get. Its profile is low but it's absolutely one of the stronger new series of Fall 2013. The animation is terrific, but the characters here are what will really pull you in. It's also got a great sense of humor that keeps it fun and light where it could get overly dramatic.

There's no way to know what you're getting into, but...
you'll love every second of it.

I genuinely don't know what I was expecting, but Samurai Flamenco delivered all of it and way more. I finished all of it in 4 days (I would have finished much faster, but work got in the way haha)... I wish I had the proper words to describe how special this show and its characters became to me seriously in an instant.

My sister put this on for us to check ...

So good... then, not so good...
I will agree with everyone else who has written a review that the first 6 episodes are AWESOME. Then it goes on some weird Power Rangers trip that I originally thought was some drug-induced dream the protagonist was having, until it kept going and going and going... It got so annoying and pointless that I had to research if it was actually worth my time to continue watching... The answer that I ...

guess they ran out of ideas
Refreshing and interesting until it goes from fighting realistic crimes to corny supervillain army that shows up out of nowhere. I actually thought it was going to continue in the more realistic vein until the end, but apparently they didn't have enough imagination.
