  • Plot Twist the Anime
So you'll be watching a few episodes and then when you think you understand, you don't. This show was amazing, a little slow in the beginning but that's what they need to prep you for the rest of the show. All of the characters were great and really helped shape the show.

  • Samurai Flamenco is awesome!
I absolutely loved and enjoyed this series very much! It had everything in it! The start reminded me of good ole Kamen Rider episodes, then they went onto Sentai Mode, Gattai Robot following and at the end he went all Ultraman! What's not to enjoy and the main message of Love conquers all! Very wonderful series!

  • Great Show! I enjoyed it
The show starts off on a regular note. No super powers, super villains, and little violence. After a few episodes that all changes. I had liked the regular feel to it but I also like the super power feel to it. A lot of people say that the show was ruined after episode 7 but I disagree, it just takes a different turn. I'm surprised this show doesn't have more fans!

  • Loved the start, disappointed by the rest
At the beginning? I most defiantly loved it. The show made me believe that hey, even I could become a hero without fighting supernatural bad guys! It was fun, and 'kinda' realistic.

But then it took an unrealistic turn and things got weird. Once actual monsters came into the mix, I began to lose interest and lost the feeling I had at the start. Things kinda went cliche, but it actually ...

  • What a strange show; Let's Flamenco!
    I--

    Well--

I don't think I can really sum up this show with any sort of ease. It does its own thing, and winds up being a massive pastiche and tribute to tokusatsu shows. It goes from serious to totally goofy to really heartfelt, and has a fully bizarre conclusion.

    I think it's worth a watch, though.

What can I say other than it was awesome!
Okay, okay, SF has some dull moments and also moments that make you go, "what the heck?". In the beginning it was a little slow paced, but around episode 3 it picked up. It continues on until Flamenco gains support and becomes big across the nation. There was a stretch (now thinking about it, kinda worked great with the story) where it was like, "this is a joke right?"

  • Could have been better
Not bad but not that good either - there were really hilarious moments but I found most of the battle scenes are pretty boring - esp with the flamengers forming the robot - it's like I was watching a rehash of Voltes V.

I loved how naive he was and at the same time very pure and honest about his feelings and a wonderful contrast was the M3 leader who was insanely sadistic!

    I also loved the ...

An anime with a funny but also sad story
Masayoshi really made me think. "Holy crap! What is he DOING!?" but then he becomes this REAL hero. FILLED WITH PLOTTWIST.
Goto-san is this policeman who is the first to meet Masayoshi as his real self. They show this friendly love for each other. Not gay but just really care for each other!
Then these irritating girls inter the series. Making Yuri and so on. :P
Even so I give the series 5 ...

  • Some Good Tropic Fun
As with many works, the basic plot is not very original. That said, the use of hero tropes was very well played, leading from a relatively serious topic of real-world heroism to an absurd world of crazy monsters. It reminded me of games I used to play as a child, where I would give myself a superpower, but then think of something strong enough to use it against. This kind of thinking leads to ...

Great show with interesting characters and development.
    This show is simply fun.
The characters are well made and get a good amount of development. The satire take on the genre is well done.

Bottom line, this is a much needed anime. Fun, well made with great art, and the story is actually touching and interesting.

    HIGHLY recommended.
