Only a review of the first three episodes
It reminds me of Penguindrum and Yuri Kuma Arashi. The animation is beautiful, and the OP and ED are so catchy. But it recycles so much material, and the story just isn't interesting to me. It's a pretty mediocre experience. Maybe if you're really into butt stuff you'll like it.

The 5 star raters might be kid diddlers....
Bad anime is bad, but this is worse.

If you are into little boys, butt stuff or both this is for you. It could be a pedo's safe space. Plot twist... there are no safe spaces for pedo's. Nor should there be. Ever.

I will watch some garbage anime, but this dumpster fire I cannot recommend. 1 star because there is not anything lower....

  • A Weird but Amazing Show
Some people might be put off by the content, but I couldn't care less. The writing is fantastic in this series. Every episode punches harder than the last. I'd definitely recommend people watch the rest of this series if they enjoyed the first episode even a little.

    Wonderful story & Writing
The author is very talented, and unlike many anime series, this one deals with real life experiences and connections between people, and does so in a very convincing and authentic manner. Many of the topics are about the painful experiences all of us go through in life. Although as kids/ teenagers it’s often our first time trying to make sense of such things. We’re forced to face one of life’s ...

  • I don't know what's coming next
I'm five episodes in at this point and I have no idea where this show is going. Kazuki blames himself for his little brother's paralysis, Toi is an orphan with a complex relationship to his gangster older brother and Enta has an unacknowledged and unrequited crush on Kazuki. So far, so good - sounds like standard coming-of-age fair.
But then a white spherical beaked creature pulls a ball out of ...

    Ikuhara's Best Work Since Utena
I'm a fan of Ikuhara... but I'm a critical one. His shows are automatic must-watches for me (for all the usual reasons. I won't repeat everything good about them here), but I've always found much to dislike about them.

I found Utena suitably revolutionary, but tedious for unacceptably long stretches. Mawaru Peguindrum's side characters and plots were weak and meandering, and took up an ...

Modern Day Issues Meet Japanese Folklore (Slightly Long, Sorry)
Mainly writing a review to continually tip the balance between the deserved ratings and the ridiculous one star ratings that I stumbled across.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not stating that any of those opinions are wrong, per se, but they were definitely worded completely emotionally rather than with a constructive viewpoint

Sarazanmai, to say the least, is an extremely overwhelming ride with ...

    Love it! Sarazanmai - LGBT
I thought it was going to be stupid, but I like it a lot! There's an LGBT storyline as well, so it's cool with me I will continue to watch it! I can't wait to see what else happens .

I love the ending song btw and the art is actually very nice

I re-upped my sub for this show
As the title says, I re-upped my CR subscription specifically so I could watch Sarazanmai as soon as the simulcast is up. That's the highest praise I can give something.

Sarazanmai is a beautiful spectacle anchored with a very human heart. The three main teenagers are all flawed but sympathetic, including the lengths they'll go to for their important people, and every answer they find so far ...

  • I absolutely love this show
It's so gay and random, nothing makes much sense right now, and that is not a bad aspect of it. Everything will make more and more sense as the episodes go on. ok now disregard the rest I am not really here to write reviews hehehe I just wanted to give it 5 stars because it deserves it.
