2 love dumb nerds figuring it out
I have to say, I came into this with low expectations and I am pleasantly surprised. The 2 main characters seem to have good chemistry ( get it...because science) and their analytical approach to feelings is pretty silly. I enjoyed how she confessed literally 2 min into the first episode so we don't get one of those animes that spends several seasons for them to say it.

    And it's also ...

Writers did zero research, ruins immersion
You know those scenes in movies where someone is on a computer and text is whizzing by and they say stuff like "if I ssh into their IP address, I can traceroute their ethernet and bypass their Linux?" Well imagine that, but it's a romcom.

The writers obviously just had the characters blurt out jargon to make them sound smart but if you have more than the most basic understanding of STEM you're ...

A must watch for romance fans
This anime instantly spiked my curiosity. At first I thought it was going to be like any other seasonal romance anime. One where the story progresses extremely slowly and sometimes they don't even reveal their feelings. But this show's hook was basically the fact that the main characters reveal their feelings. If you liked Kaguya - sama last winter season, then you're definitely going to like this ...

    Rom-Com done scientifically.
Did you enjoy watching "KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR"? Well you will certainly enjoy this series as well. It is quite entertaining and interesting. So far I enjoy watching and will certainly watch more. This is highly recommended for those who want to watch Romance or Rom-Com.

    Unfortunately, couldn't stand it
I was very hopeful with this anime. It started out on a good foot. I found the story premise and characters amusing and full of potential. But then not even halfway through, that amusement turned into annoyance. So much so I didn't even finish episode 1.

    Kaguya-sama, this isn’t
I had high hopes this would be similar to kaguya-sama, but it isn’t even close. Kaguya-sama has chemistry and witty repartee between its leads. This, however, is two dull AF leads who have as much chemistry as a first grade science experiment. It was refreshing having the lead female confess right out the gate, but the “hypothesis and testing” was funny for only a moment. Unlike dr. Stone’s ...

It keeps getting better with each episode.
Honestly, I wasn't overly impressed with the first episode. Cute enough, harmless enough. But nothing outstanding. But....I have come to being a believer in the 3 episode rule. The belief that you can't truly give an accurate assessment of an anime until you've seen at least 3 episodes. So...I came back for more. and guess what !!! It gets better, and better. I mean, the 2 main characters ...

Best Rom Com of the Season
This isn't a show that is going to be in the running for best of the season or the year, but if you liked Kaguya Sama Love is War then I say give this one a go. The characters are enjoyable and the antics are goofy enough to get a good few laughs an episode. Also it may just be me, but the ending song is SUPER catchy.

    Watch something else
One important thing I learned while studying animation at university was "use the medium best suited for the idea". There is literally no reason for this show to exist as an anime. Animation is clearly not the best suited for this one, as regular live-action would do the job equally good while not taking 100 years to animate. While the premise peaked my interest a little bit, I was left quite ...

Science Made a Cute, Cliché Rom-Com And I Think it's Fun
This is written as of episode 4

Not enough people are seeing this show because of the Isekai hellscape we live in today. If you liked Kaguya-Sama this will definitely hold you over until next season, but it brings enough of it's own to the table. Super cute characters with a fun dynamic that I'm excited to see more of and finally get that kiss that's bound to happen.
