    Right in the Nostalgia
    This is a film I used to watch all the time as a kid, before I even knew what anime was. I loved this movie so much, I bought it from a company that took old VHS footage and transferred them to DVDs. Luckily for me, the anniversary edition DVD came out recently and I could get it in its original, beautiful quality.

    An aesthetically beautiful film from Sanrio
    Here is another rarely-seen anime film I watched online, and after I did I loved it. It's a beautifully-animated fantasy about two star-crossed lovers from opposite sides : Fire & Water. You know, I didn't know Sanrio, creator of Hello Kitty (and all the other cuddley characters we love) made this film; but now I do.

    The reason why I love music and anime...
    I first saw this on VHS in the early 80's and the impact of the story combined with one of the best anime soundtracks of all time actually inspired me to study musical instruments. This timeless piece never gets old and should be a part of everyone's education on what love can be and the potential of the anime genre.

  • Atmospheric Film with a Familiar Plot and Moments of Absolute Beauty
    I picked this to watch pretty randomly, so I had no idea what I was walking into - I imagined a hokey friendship story with cheesy animation and lots of childish humor...I couldn't have been more wrong!
