    hmm interesting first episode
    Vaporwave the show

must suck to be an art student in japan if this is based on truths. other than that who knows where this show is headed. could be funny. Glad it's in a short format or they'd probably just beat any jokes they have to death.

Is this supposed to be something?
If this is parody, it surely misses by a mile. Parody isn't supposed to be laugh out loud funny, but there is no cleverness, no understanding, knowing smile, no anything.

    Just pain.

It's not particularly funny and if it's a send-up of the type of material like Hatoful Boyfriend, it's not making it. (Can't parody a parody.)

I guess it could get better. I won't be waiting.

The Hard Life of an Idol Manager
This short is an outlandish parody of idol shows wherein the term idol is taken literally--this group is actually comprised of four famous stone statues. This arrangement is considered perfect by the management company because they never have to worry about their properties becoming flawed but it's an unwelcome surprise to the group's new greenhorn manager, Miki. As it turns out, Miki has been ...

    Puns... so many puns
Strangely hilarious. Upon viewing this anime in the show list I thought that it was probably the most ridiculous looking anime I'd ever heard of, thankfully I watched the first episode and within 40 minutes had watched all available 6 episodes in a row.

The busts are surprisingly expressive considering they're.... statues, angle changes as well as lighting really helps give each statue a life ...

Poor Miki!! The troubles of babysitting a boy band.
Sekko Boys is a riot. It's educational, but also makes you rethink everything you ever thought you knew about buy bands.

The short follows college graduate Miki Ishimoto, who just got hired on to be the assistant to an up and coming boy band, full of single, muscular hunks. Sounds dreamy, right?

Well here's the catch. The boy band is made entirely of talking busts, all based on Italian and ...

    Strange and different but entertaining
I never understood what the author was thinking about four sculptures being the man characters of a new anime. After the second episode, I understood, and was enjoying each new episode. Sometimes it wasn't logical how they spoke, moved, and even drank (one has whipped creme on his nose), but that is part of the fantasy and fun of this strange anime. Even a new phase was created " Giogio-ing".Watch ...

What in the world did I just watch
So...what do you get when you have a boy band of pop idols made up of the busts of Greek and Roman Gods with a manager that has an art degree and no experience what so ever managing a group? This show. Oh this show. I couldn't look away. You were that stupid fun show I watched all season long. I enjoyed you for you had man laughs to be had, awful puns, and a premise so bizarre I could not ...

    Everybody Must Get Stoned
As of this posting, nobody has used "This Show Rocks!" as a review title. Most unfortunate. Thought that one would go up right off the bat. Puns aside, this show is ... hmm. How to explain? Back in the early days of anime in the U.S., when old fans like me were still learning the canon, we'd hear a brief explanation of a show and go "WTF?!" (e.g. Ranma ½ being summarized as "guy turns into ...

    basically a 7 minute meme
Do you like absurdity and puns? Do you like classical art memes and the juxtaposition of high and low culture? Do you like the kind of dadaist humor from anime screenshots without context? Then you may find (some parts) of sekko boys hilarious!

It's a pretty inconsistent show; when its on, its ON. When its off, its pretty tedious and a bit boring. There isn't a whole lot in the way of plot, and ...
