  • horrible ending......
I enjoyed this series up to the last .... 1/3 of it. It wasn't a typical high school drama, and I was hoping I would be watching adult love/drama, and it was for the most of it. It was not relatable or believable in the end. It lacked chemistry between those who ended up together. It wasn't enough material to make me believe they actually felt or loved enough to be with the ones they ended up ...

  • Amazing scary realistic drama-seinen anime
This is one of those anime that you didn't know you were looking for and it just appears right in front of you.

The best drama-seinen I have seen so far (at least from what I remember). So realistic that it could make you feel like the whole situation is the story of your life (at least to a 25 years old guy like me in a similar situation like the male protagonist). Really, I'm serious about ...

I like the ending of SING "YESTERDAY" FOR ME
I almost thought that there could be a potential poly relationship developing amount those 4 people. This ending is nice too. It seems to me that confused individuals are more attracted to clear minded individuals then towards another confused soul. The whole story is so realistic and reflecting the mind set of each individual so nicely. Thank you for creating SING "YESTERDAY" FOR ME.

  • SING "YESTERDAY" FOR ME: But, did It?
Anime fortunately or not has a tendency to strive for perfection. Visually, audibly and most importantly in the way, it projects characters and their psychosynthesis. It's evidently rare to spot a series that throws away this major differentiation of Anime to portray more accurate characters and even when that is the case it's to exaggerate abnormal characters than to induce naturalness. SING ...

  • Rushed but a good ending
I liked the story of this anime but I felt like there were too many episodes where they were obviously made just to stretch out the series just to have the final episode feel rushed, The animation I liked a lot and would like to see the style more often.

  • Fails to develop relationships
    Firstly, trying not to spoil.

Secondly this is exactly my type of anime; I love sappy, mostly-talking, cute animes. But this anime is kinda just bad. Relationships are underdeveloped, reasons are both oversimplified and random, character traits are arbitrary, generally there's just no development in all 12 episodes of it. The problem in episode 1 is the exact same as in episode 10-11 with ...

  • Completamente decepcionado...

  • sing yesterday, think tomorrow
    fantastic simple, real story.
thinking about yesterday only makes you think more about yesterday, laying on your bed for hours on end
thinking about tomorrow opens the door to the seemingly endless forest, where the fog is heavy.
but that's life. and that's what this story is all about.
today isn't yesterday. tomorrow won't be yesterday either.
everything changes. and life will go on, even if ...

  • Great slow burn slice of life
My favorite show of the spring season. I'm a big fan of slow realistic slice of life shows and Sing Yesterday for Me really fits the bill for me. Its realistic portrayal of human emotions and desires is just so dang relatable. The love quadrangle (pentagon?) is a little over the top and I can definitely empathize with other reviewers when they are annoyed by some of the characters actions. ...

  • Sing "Yesterday" for Me
Sing "Yesterday" for Me focuses on Rikuo, who has graduated from a college, but has no ambitions about the future whatsoever and just works in a convenience store. His life is monotonous and nothing happens, however, everything changes when he meets his ex-girlfriend. Rikuo's life changes even more, when he meets Haru Nonaka, who has a pet crow.

All in all, this was one of the slowest romance ...
