    good show to relax to.
This show is the type of show that is great for when you want to wind down. Not really anything really amazing, but charming and entertaining in it's own right. A lot of the show is built of of really light laughs, and I find myself smiling while watching the entire episode.

  • Brings back memories
This show reminds me of a lot of situations I ran into working retail. Huge shipments of new releases and no where in the back room to store them, the craziness of all the extra product that shows up around the holidays, the hilarious moments with co-workers as we try not to freak out while balancing sorting product, getting it out, helping customers, and helping the cashiers. HA!

    It's nice to ...

  • A great show for those who know the pain of retail labor
This show is genuinely entertaining and for those who have worked in a retail situation, the humor will not be lost on you. For most anime that are based on realistic situations, this one captures all the feelings of one might experience while working in retail spanning from "Thank God that's over" to the re-occurring "I WANT TO GO HOME!!"

  • This is much better than most shows in this season
This is much better than most shows in this season. It's sad it's not gotten enough attention. It's weird and nutty so if you like Asobi Asobase or Nichijou or Pop Team Epic you are going to love this. And then behind the surface, it is a very good explanation of how the Japanese book publishing industry works from a special perspective and you will definitely learn a thing or two about it.

  • Very nice and informative show :D
I really like this anime, as well as the whole comic idea as well!! People really should write more stuff like this, it's always nice getting to know more about what goes on behind the scenes in different things like this!! I really learned a lot about bookselling that I had no idea about, I have found myself respecting booksellers a lot more now. It can be much harder than it seems to be.
    The ...

An actual insight into the life of booksellers, with a twist!
My friend suggested this anime to me, and I wasn't sure about it at first. I like comedy and I loved Bakuman, so I thought I'd give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. It's built mostly around sketch comedy, but every joke is centered around a real world problem that booksellers, or just retailers/office workers have in general. The fact dropping is very much similar to Cells at Work, another show ...

  • Charming and Comical!
I've very much enjoyed the small glimpses we are given into the lives of the people who work the bookstore. As some who's worked in the service industry, the tone of the characters' feelings and interactions are spot on. The MC's narration does an excellent job conveying a nuance of feelings, but retains a sympathetic quality throughout that I found very relaxing and charming.

    I love how the ...

  • Very good comedy for book and manga nerds
I'm greatly enjoying this show so far (5 episodes into it). Fair warning, though; As with many gag shows, the tempo is almost forbiddingly fast for an English audience sometimes (when there's narration voice-over while characters are talking in the background or text is showing on the screen). Be prepared to have to pause and rewind a couple of times to catch everything.

    The show is probably ...

    Different and Charming
I really like the background story of the Japanese bookseller. It is very amusing, I laughed out loud more than once. The simple animation is perfect and the Engrish is really cute. This is one that is a good short watch in between other anime's. I hope this series isn't short
