    kyoani is at it again
What is there to say about Euphonium, even? It stands out as one of the best series of the last couple years, and no wonder, considering the roll Kyoto Animation have been in lately.

It's really a marvel to behold. Basically every single element of the show exudes a strength and confidence the likes of which are unseen in most anime; the direction, animation, music, character designs, and ...

  • Highly Recommended! My favorite instrument + Great Characters!
One of my favorite animes EVER! Great animation, amazing character development, and sharp uniforms! (heheheh music humor)

I'm so happy to see the euphonium get some recognition, especially since I have been playing it for 6 years in both middle and high school.

  • A fantastically made musical anime!
The best thing I like is none of the story lines are dragged. The art and animation is amazing and the chemistry between the band members has been portrayed brilliantly. I love the fact that there is no annoyingly stupid character in the series and that every one of them is mature in their own way.

  • Have Fun or Be in Nationals
I was actually hesitant on watching the series due to previous animes by KyoAni like Hyouka and Beyond the Boundary having lackluster story despite the amazing animation. I'm glad Sound! Euphonium has something going on with it.

This anime has amazing animation as I've always seen in KyoAni animes. The story is very common if you've seen lots of musical genre animes, but it delivers more drama ...

Great plot, great character development, outstanding music
The anime follows the adventures of a high school symphony orchestra. The characters are well developed, interesting to watch, and engaging. The action is all interpersonal (slice of life), which works well in this story. The animation is excellent and the classical music is enjoyable. They have finally started having some male/female interactions (other than a teacher crush) in the 6th ...

Great Colors, Great Charaters, Overall a Great Anime!
So let me get this straight, I'm a very picky person when it comes to shows that I enjoy. So when I heard my friends talking about this anime, I was slightly skeptical, but when I got around to watching it, I knew that I could never go back. The anime itself has very good animation quality, mostly likely some of the best I've seen. So, if you're looking for anime that has lovable characters, ...

  • Perfect for music/band lovers, cute and a good story
As a musician and band member myself, I was very skeptical of this anime at first but after watching it with my sister, I found myself enjoying it. It's very cute and has a good story line with a decent plot. The definitely hit the mark when they portrayed a high school band and what it's all about and got the instruments correct, that's something you don't often see. It's a well done anime. I ...

    Awesome! Mesmerizing animations. Kumiko rocks
    Pros:

    - Animation quality: mesmerizing, one of the best I've ever seen. The blur and the lights are nerdgasmic.
    - Soundtrack: wonderful selection, the expectations were high considering the theme of the show and it did not disappoint. I love how they show you the difference that makes when you play with sentiment rather than playing mechanically.
    - Characters: Most of them are quite ...

an okay anime, but a word of caution
If you're a yuri or shoujo ai fan who came to watch this show for the two girls on the front that you've seen in gifsets all over the internet, you'll be severely disappointed. The scenes with the two are some of the most striking and beautiful scenes between two people that I have ever seen in anime. They have so much chemistry together and their voice actors only improve the atmosphere, but ...

dont judge a book by its cover
i started watching this show because of boredom, i just didnt know what to watch and this one was on the front page. I played an instrument in my teens, but i dont really care about the concert band aspect. I would still recommend this show to everyone!

The show gives a really realistic atmosphere and i felt taken back to highschool. The character progression is really good. No character feels ...
