  • #29. Fun size anime!
After her father is frozen in a solid ice block of ice and his own daughter shatters him, Luluco ends up taking her fathers job at a space patrol worker, handling a temp job for undercover space to earth immigration related investigations.

A fun and colorful short-form anime filled with comedy and references to existing and upcoming Studio Trigger properties.

  • Fluffly, funny, and short!
I binge watched this anime in a day. It’s so cuteness and fluffly plus it’s pretty funny too. I give this a 4.5 stars, I probably would’ve given it 5 but if was kinda a bit confusing. Other than that I would recommend it if you’re looking for something weird, cute, funny, and quick. Each episode is like 7 minuets

if you like kill la kill you'll probably like this
definitely more out there and less lewdness, but in the exact same style and same absurd humor.

I did not like kill la kill and I did not like this one.

The jokes don't land, there is only sillyness which I can't knock them for but there is a character limit.

  • Short yet adorably quirky
Space Patrol Luluco is just another example of Trigger doing what it does best, creating an obscure universe and filling it with even stranger characters.

This series manages to pack so much into its short episodes and I'd love to see more short form series like this.

Trigger unashamedly fills the show with references to their other works which is a fun addition if you have seen any of their ...

  • An amazing and funny deconstruction of tropes, full of references and J U S T I C E
A spectacular comedy anime series wrapped into 13 episodes. This series manages to tell a lot of story within almost 8 minutes (per episode) while also fitting in a ton of comedy and fantastic, speedy animation. The art is lovely and oh so very pastel and shiny (and I'm into that), with an art style easily associated with Studio Trigger that still manages to look unique to Space Patrol Luluco. I ...

  • Short, sweet, and wonderful.
Space Patrol Luluco is a very short series (which is great in my opinion). It follows Luluco and her space patrolling! Hence the title. It has a semi-chibi art style and a colorful aesthetic that I love. It's a heartfelt, comedic romp full of nothing but pure, charming fun! Also, two words: Over Justice.

  • Maybe it works as a Trigger superfan amuse bouche?
But certainly not as a stand-alone main dish. Felt more like a chance for animators to hang out and blow off steam than a real thing. Not that there aren't cool animated spots, there are! But what was happening didn't really matter, and that isn't my thing so much.

  • Fun Space Parody Shorts
Not much to say about "Luluco". It's just space nonsense that's just fun. Very "flashy" animation. A story line that's basically irrelevant to any particular episode. No gripping dialogue or heart rendering drama. Just an enjoyable and pleasant time killer.

  • Trigger's Fan's Finest
