Just as Good as the Original
Steins; Gate is my favorite anime. That's why when I found out a new series was coming out, I was super excited but also very anxious. I was worried that it would destroy everything that came before it and just be one of those sequels where we all pretend it doesn't exist. Episode 25 of Season 1 didn't leave me with a good impression that a good story could be pursued after the masterpiece that ...

    Depressing, Broken, and Wasted Potential
This sequel took everything we liked from the original, and twisted it until we barely recognize the characters we're familiar with. That said, is it interesting seeing the alternative timeline in more depth? Absolutely. However, retelling this story in a different light has opened plot holes that otherwise wouldn't have existed.

You cannot refund your time. Don't waste it watching this ...

    DONT SKIP THIS SEASON!!!
I, like many others, was skeptical of a sequel without Kurisu. Kurisu, or "Christina", made Steins;Gate what it was, along with all the other lab members. The interaction between Okabe and Kurisu is golden, and gave me warmth to watch.
All this being said, I still gate Steins;Gate 0 a try, and I was absolutely hooked by episode 5. S;G 0 is a whole other adventure in itself, one that really makes ...

BIG OOF (A no spoilers review)
Wow I can't believe it, they dun goofed. After almost perfectly adapting the original into an anime I had high hopes they'd be able to do it again... but no. The Steins;Gate 0 VN had a few plot holes, sure, but nothing that really ruined the experience. I was hoping the the anime would fix those plot holes of even find ways to avoid them all together somehow. But they instead created even more by ...

    Mad Scientist. Simply Brilliant.
I watched this anime years ago but I'm writing the review now.

After Death Note and Code Geass, I finally found another show worth calling amazing.

Starts slow and immature. But soon plot develops great as well as the characters and their relations. Amazing and very realistic characters. Great plot. Great sound and animation. Very emotional. I was a skeptic when I heard that this show was ...

I'm kinda conflicted in what i think about this anime
When you go back to watch the incredible MASTERPIECE of Steins;Gate, it's hard for me to take that and compare it to 0. I mean, sure they got all of the stuff from the visual novel which is great, but story wise... Did, they really decide that this was the best way to go for a sequel? A time travel thriller with a crazy but lovable scientist protagonist and his quirky but also lovable friends, up ...

  • #189. Steins'Gate, The Alternative.
A "what if" scenario where Okabe does not get back into the time machine one last time at the end of the original Steins;Gate.

Overall the best I can say about Steins;Gate 0, is that if you liked the original, this is just something extra you may or may not like. It should also be said though that the time machine in this spin-off, while is still a pivotal plot point in this version, is ...

  • A perfect balance, I love it
Steins;Gate 0 is one of the greatest animes I've seen, and I love how there's more than just time travelling (mainly thinking about reading steiner). There is a perfect balance between humour, action, drama and confusion.
One thing that could be improved on is making clear that Steins;Gate 0 is a continuation on Seins;Gate, because I barely knew there existed two series. I feel like I have to ...

  • This Anime Is Incredibly BEAUTIFUL!
I started watching Steins; Gate out of the fact that I dislike the idea of time travel. Regular Steins; Gate was great, but Steins; Gate 0 has so much emotion in it. It's so beautiful. It keeps you coming back for more. The way it contrasts from Steins; Gate is amazing. Honestly, this may be the best anime I have ever seen.
