    Like a Second Date..
I'm not going to beat around the bush here.

    - Steins;Gate is the product of great source material and a studio that cared just enough
    - Steins;Gate 0 is disadvantaged in that its source material is inferior

If you are expecting to feel the same way you did watching the first anime, you won't. You'll be excited going in, but... You'll see.

    Goodbye sane mind...
I have not played any Steins;Gate VN. Nor do i currently plan to. But as a Steins;Gate fan i can say this. The new season will blow your mind, it'll rip out your heart and it's gonna mentally destroy you just like season 1 did... Only 6 episodes are out yet... And it's already doing what Steins;Gate does best... You can say goodbye to your sane mind...

  • Relieving a Master piece in order to hack the gate!
The side story of anime does not miss a beat. The music and art direction are equal that visual novels and previous anime series. A show that relives a master piece and is worth all the hype it receives. It even lives up to all the past series exceptions! The Butterfly effect lives on! in this thriller of a science fiction anime. The series really humanizes our once naive main character. It deals ...

I am fully hooked on this. If you loved Steins;Gate you will love this. It continues on with the troubles of life for Okarin-San... But man I don't envy what he has to deal with. This Anime series has me seriously hooked more then any other I ...

Amazing followup to an amazing anime
When i started watching Steins;Gate 0 i was a bit confused when it takes place, i later found out that the first episode of the show isnt even on Crunchyroll. Its an OVA that is an alternnative to episode 23 of the original Steins;Gate and sets up this new show (you can easily find the episode on youtube). Just wanted to inform people that might be a little confused like i was. Other than that ...

  • The great continuation of the Steins;Gate anime!
Steins;Gate 0 is placed during ep 23 of Steins;Gate original (different world line), and is what makes the happy outcome of the first anime possible. Seven years after the making of the original anime, the unique and different personalities of the whole crew are more than in tact! Can you say Legal Lolis ??? I sure can!
From the 4 episodes I've watched so far, it's shaping up to be a true ...

  • Amazing start to finish
Steins Gate 0 is amazing from the beginning to the end. The story is great, characters are wonderful, and everything comes together so well. Great animation and good sound. Opening and ending songs are nice. I have played the Steins Gate 0 game to completion and so far the anime is doing it justice. I'm really glad to see it as an anime. It's a great sequel to one of the best anime ever made. I ...

  • A trip down memory lane
A continuation of the original Steins;Gate series. Most of the original cast members make a return along with an alternate story and new faces. The theme and mood of the show are largely the same, so you'll likely get the nostalgia and a bit of unexpected in this new adventure. If I had to say something bad about the show it would be that it gets complicated to get a full grasp of the story. As ...

  • World Linesβ I'm not mad scientist its not cool sunvabitch
This show is much better then I thought it would be. The show followed its true Visual Novel roots and allowed for the last season to have alternate endings. I hoped they would continue the alpha world line and follow the bright path. No the did not all the characters continue on with us, and Steins;Gate is reborn without HOUHIN KYOMA the mad scientist so cool sunuvabitch.
    The show makes you ...

  • (Re)Watch the First One
The first one is a masterpiece and is #1 on my list. With the first episode, I could tell I won't be disappointed.

Steins;Gate 0 really isn't a prequel as its timeline is between episode 1-23b and 1 through 24. I recommend watching Steins;Gate TV series, Egoistic Poriomania, and Load Region of Déjà Vu, plus episode 23b. At a minimum, (re)watching Steins;Gate TV episodes 1 through 22 plus 23b ...
