  • The beauty of terror
This show blew me away within the first few minutes and kept me deeply invested until the last. For lack of a better word, this show really resonated with me. It's incredible how such an ugly thing like terrorism can be conveyed in such a beautiful way. The characters were admirable and and likable on both sides with respectable goals and moving interactions. The show hooked me with it's ...

Extremely disappointing after strong start - also has terribly written ending
The first 2/3rd of Terror in Resonance is brilliant. The art direction is fabulous, the animation is sharp, the character development is good, and the plot keeps you hooked.

Sadly, the last leg of this short series seems to have been rushed to the nth degree. The last three episodes are utterly incoherent and don't fit with the narrative pace or development of the rest of the story. The main ...

Strong throughout - ends with a meh
The delivery o fte final sequences suffer from over softening - with a bit more grit it would have beeb perfect. All in all a Very worthy watch. I want to avoid any form of spoilers but the pacing is great - the characters are compelling - there are about three cliches in the whole run of the show - you will feel you're walking away from it a bit too soion but willl be glad you watched

    Definitely a thriller
The poster shows two tall buildings on file. This image resembles the 9/11 twin tower tragedy. When I saw that my impression of the show was "not that please". After watching the first episode my impression was "not another teenage high school student with angst, please!".

Fortunately, as it turns out, my worries are all for nothing. This show is a first-class thriller all the way to the ...

Intriguing first episode drags you into to a season of rubbish
This is an almost impossible anime to review without spoiling. But I'll give it a try.

The show has a fairly strong first episode that builds up a lot of mystery... but also already starts with a fairly large level of implausability. While suspense of belief is part of any show... one that tries to deal with such important, dire topics like terrorism and government overreach, you have to have a ...

    I'm buying it on Blu-ray
What to say. I went in not knowing what to expect. The first episode had me confused. The second had me intrigued. And the third episode had me hooked. The remaining eight episodes were an easy binge that had me wanting to know and see more.

    An instant classic.

  • Jump right into the action!
This series jumps right into action. Which is the perfect start to how the series will continue. You don’t need to know who the main characters are right away. What you do need to know is that they mean business.

Obviously, shortly after the main intro action we do need to start learning a little about the characters. We don’t learn all about their past until the later episodes. But from the ...

  • Amazing Story and Art, but Feels Too Short
Only 11 episodes long, Terror in Resonance manages to break through high expectations by offering a unique story and provides an art style that can compete with the best.
The plot, without giving too much away, is about two terrorists who set up in Tokyo. During their first attack, a high school girl sees one of their faces, so they essential give her the choice of join them or die. She of ...
