    It's actually not bad
Even though the intro is not that good, everything else is pretty decent. It has a good plot and I like it. I've been into isekai lately and this is pretty good. I've seen better but I think this is still good enough to deserve a five star rating. I don't exactly recommend it, but I think it's decent.

  • It's OK not amazing just OK.
It's OK not amazing just OK.
The Characters are very well developed but at least they aren't all completely one dimensional.
The Protagonist doesn't really act like a human being, more like a lost puppy completely devoid of a moral compass or the ability to decide anything for himself.
Also he is eternally surprised by every single thing he sees or hears in this world he has supposedly grown ...

It's not good. At all. It's trash.
A thoroughly uninspired anime. Battle sequences were trash, the show used so much tell-don't-show, it wasted many opportunities. I'm surprised the political subtext survived the first draft given that this is obviously a show for kids. I wouldn't bother watching the next season (if there is one).

It seems Crunchyroll users will upvote any anime to 5 stars these days. Dissapointed

  • Generic isekai, however
By most anime standards, this anime is average. The art is passable, the animation is meh and the story is your generic "guy gets reborn in mystical land with superpowers" type of story that we've already seen a million times from these kinds of anime.

There is one aspect to the story that I found interesting however. As expected, the hero's gains an insane power very quickly which is standard, ...

    A Train Wreck Worth Watching
This is your standard Ridiculous Isekai With OP Protagonist. That said, it's so silly half the time that I kid you not, I marathoned the whole series in a single go. The events that happen in here just kept making me say "Did they really just do that?"

I'm just sad my favorite character didn't come into the show until late. The food addict was instantly my favorite. XD

Underrated, a cut above so many
I’m not going to say this is the best Isekai out there, but it’s refreshing. Sometimes you need a break from emotional gut-punches like Re:Zero. These are likable characters just trying to make their way in the world, and I’m happy to watch them do it. Yes, the main character is stupidly overpowered, but he doesn’t let it go to his head and he stays a sincere person just trying to do the best he ...

    Review as of Episode 5
I definitely don't hate this anime. I think it's better than Wiseman's Grandchild so far, I just wrote a review because I didn't understand how it was a 2.7 out of 5 stars. star ratings are never quite accurate because a 1 star rating is used far too often for something that isn't really that bad. I have recommended this anime to friends, I don't think it deserves to die out this quick ???? I ...

    Below Average Isekai
Dropped the manga and the anime out of boredom.

    Cons
Harem obtained without minimal emotional development
OP protagonist without a foil OP villain
Action sequences are just so, so lame. Just charging up a spell with a digital looking magic circle and that's about it...

    Pros
First two episodes was pretty good, the mage teacher was fleshed out unlike the heroines...

An ok show, but nothing special
It is not necessarily a bad show, but there is nothing that makes this show stand out. This show is for me the definition of a generic isekai. There is no sense of tension and things just happen for no reason. Still, some parts are entertaining and some aspects of the show are good.

  • Not really isekai and generic
This show is not bad but the story is very generic. I've seen worse (those that hit cringe level). Yes, the story has the MC come from another world but no knowledge comes from another (our) world to this fantasy world except for food cravings.

In terms of plot, it is very much just a random MC who just got a lot a magic power and deals with issues relating to having that much ability and his ...
