  • I am completely invested in this show
This show is so flipping good, as soon as I saw the animation and the pretty cover of the light novel I knew I had to see it. The build-up of the main characters' relationship is definitely one of a kind and I'm so excited to see where it's heading. I can't wait to see where this show is going to end. I hope they are already planning season two because I can't get enough.

A Real Jewel of an Anime
I love this series. The more I watch it, the more it reminds me of the byplay between Holmes and Watson in the Sherlock Holmes stories. Seigi, the idealistic hero of justice, and Richard, the cool and mildly cynical jewel expert. Like the Holmes stories, clients come to Richard in need of help. However, in each case, the help they really need isn't necessarily just the assessment of value of a ...

A slice of life about gemmology and against discrimination
What has surprised me most in this slice of life, it's not only that it's about jewels, gems, and minerals (something I love) but also the strong take against discrimination towards gender, race, and sexual orientation, something I haven't seen in an anime before. Not a hard take, but one based on decency and kindness, one that doesn't sternly lecture us but wants to make you understand. If it ...

    Oprah's Whinner Club
I've now seen 3 episodes, they are all whinny drama short stories about whinny people. The show is essentially a slice of life about people who show up at this jewler's office to unburden their emotional b.s. on his therapy couch.

The animation is excellent, the music is pleasant. However the story lost 2 stars because the story line is ultimately short form of subjects that are being resolved ...

    A really good, sophisticated Anime
I really liked the first two episodes. Very likable, intelligent, kind main characters; sophisticated dialogue. It explores issues of discrimination. It doesn't have any of the annoying fan service so many Anime are full of. The art is pretty good too. Overall it's worth watching it

I refuse to let this show have a bad rating.
I'm weak for gems. At one time, I wanted to be a geologist. That's what got me interested in the first place.

This show, just based on the first episode, is really sweet. I'm a big fan of stories that show the motives of the "villains", proving that morality can never be just black and white.

So what if this show isn't super realistic? That's not why I watch anime! Sometimes, you just need a ...

Based of Intro (Will update later):
I like it. Fate, indeed, is strong with this one. I liked the vibe, art style, character design, and character himself. I am willing to give this show a chance as the plot might've of seemed simple at first, but it flows well and such is life. I can't wait to see the next one

I just love stories with these kind of themes
I really am a sucker for stories and characters that are altruistic in nature. And that definitely seems to be a key theme for these stories. Honourable, kind people going about doing kind things, often for complete strangers.

I guess I’m one for those folks who wished the world had just a few more, or perhaps if I’m being completely honest, a lot more people like this.

    I enjoyed the ...
