Hiroyuki's Mangaka-san is the "The Ecchi Bakuman" - Kingfirejet's Reviews
This short series is based off the 100+ chapter manga, "Mangaka-san to Assistant-san." It is currently on its second season manga (Mangaka-san to Assistant-san 2).

Before watching, if you hate ecchi and expected a long compelling love story then this show won't meet those expectations.

If you really need a laugh
I definitely need to laugh at something once in awhile to improve my mood or while taking a break. This anime is half length episodes. I prefer being entertained for long amounts of time but this does provide a lot of entertainment in a short amount of time. If you don't mind a lot of perversion. The main character is the mangaka and his passion for creating manga is widely uncontrolled. The first ...

Manic manga artist with his reluctant assistants.
I saw this one on the spring release list so I took the liberty of reading the manga and I was pleased to find it very easy to power through the entire series. I was afraid that the short non-linear plots would turn this into one of those 3 minute shorts, so I am pleased they decided to make it 12 minutes long!

Basically this entire series boils down to a die-hard panty otaku who is a creepy ...

It's funny, it's ecchi and tird thing the protagonist says is that he wants to grab some breast.
But don't worry, it's not because he is a pervert.....which he is....but that he needed information as how it looks so that he could draw it in a perfect way. I have really good espectations for this anime. It's funny, made me laugh the whole episode, and it has a decent amount of ecchi jokes for a ecchi anime. If you like comedy, and ecchi jokes then this is the anime for you.

Seriously, it grows on you. (Like foot fungus)
Harem is really not my cup of tea. Yet Mangaka to Assistant-san is really enjoyable - it doesn't pretend to be more than it is, which is a unrepentant pervert and his harem of archetypes. I thoroughly enjoyed the manga, and found the characters likable despite their generic personalities.

Light, short (somewhat cracky) episodes allow this anime to be picked up easily - deep ...

Not a Harem But a Great Comedy
There aren't many harems out there that can get me so addicted. The Comic Artist and his Assistants is a show filled with love hate relationships, pervertedness, and the best thing of all COMEDY. If there's one thing every easy going series is laughter. After watching the first episode I was hooked, can't wait for more.

    Pantsu - the Animation
This show wants you to follow it down a rabbit hole of cringe comedy and dirty jokes. I'm not saying it's not hilarious, I'm just saying that this is not an anime about a manga artist and his assistants, it's an anime about one mans dream. Of pantsu.

    It's A Sitcom That Works
I'm just want to say what I haven't seen in any of these reviews. This series is what Americans call a Sitcom, which is short for situational comedy. Something along the lines of "Threes Company" or "The Honeymooners." That means if the MC breaks his arm in one episode, the next episode it is no longer broken. There is a slim plot progression but primarily it is the characters that drive each ...
