Definitely Worth Watching, Despite Blatant Pacing issues
This is an adaptation of an award winning visual novel that is considered by many to be a masterpiece. Personally, i immensely enjoyed the visual novel for the intense dramatic and physiological elements, as well as the clever writing that can also be seen in the show as well. I don't expect the show to deliver the same kind of impact, simply because there's only 12 episodes, and i can already ...

  • Surprisingly close to source
after reading grisaia no kajitsu, i kind of expected this to be terrible, like book-movie adaptations, but it for the most part stays true to the story, and the animations are pretty well done. I find the panty-shot camera angles a little creepy, but it's not like we don't know where this is heading...

I really like this series, however..
First off, I really do enjoy this show. I'm not familiar with the original novel, so I came into this show with no expectations. It delivers all the the core elements that keep me interested in watching a series.
Having said that, after watching episode six, I have no clue at all what this show is about. I'm tempted to sit down and spend a couple hours to watch every episode again because I ...

I Don't Think I've EVER...EVER Felt More SORRY for the FANS
I remember when I first watched this show, and I thought it was slow. The pacing would make it difficult for new viewers to catch interest. However, characters were interesting--need I mention that Michiru saved the early episodes for me? But then two things happened. First, I made a wish on a monkeys paw: "This show is too slow. I want it to go faster." Second, it did. I've never, EVER seen a ...

    Le Fruit De La Grisaia
This show started off kind of slow but HOLY SHIT does it take off trust me. Try to get to a least episode 6 and you will thank me its crazy and it goes to the very boundaries of what an anime can do. It did plenty of cray things that I have never seen a anime do before. FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a Surprise, Not what I was expecting at all
So I'm not sure what the genres are for this anime, but something that I really like is this: It's set up like a harem, but it doesn't do the normal things a harem would do. The main character is very strong and the girls are actually "normal" girls as in they don't try to throw themselves onto Yuuji. Overall, this is a great anime. Not many anime can grab me by the first episode and this one ...

Once you understand that it's based off a VN, it's fine.
When you take a visual novel with a lengthy story and lengthier routes and make a 12-13 episode animation out of it, you're going to have to bear in mind that things from the original source material are bound to be cut. Character arcs that contain anywhere between 2-8 hours of text are to be wrapped up in 20-60 minutes in an animation. Because of that, there will be lots of character depth and ...

Great Novel and Anime 5/5 Stars
After spending approximately three week on the novel, i happen to enjoy it very much. The Anime gives the viewer a rough idea of what actually happens in the novel itself. I recommend both Anime and Novel to everyone that enjoys a Fantastic Romantic, Drama, and Tragedy. Expressing my own opinion, the anime itself has great character development.

Surprisingly good, Do not miss you may like it
I've watched my fair share of anime, but this is one of the ones that surprised me. One day I saw this anime, and thought "well what the heck i'll try it out" it turned out to be one of the best anime series I've seen so far. It has a perfect amount of darkness to the plot, but not too much, so that it is depressing. I love how they did the whole, guy comes in and fixes girl's problems formula, ...
