    Unremarkable, but not unlikable
Needs more viewing before I can properly review, honestly, but the first episode was mediocre with a side of twist? I might give it another episode or two, but I don't see this being among the top of the season, or even something I stick with very long.

    Nothing original to see here.
I'm not going to pretend the show is bad, but it isn't great or legendary. I feel like four and five stars must be reserved for better shows. The concept is cliché and worn out. It's a moe mecha. That's it.
The art is average, the combat feels very static. And as usual guns on mechs are useless, swords are king. I think that's the allure of mecha anime, the one on one duels and melee combat, so ...

Don't stop with the first episode
The series opens with a brief introduction to a post-Earth space society, and the likeable young princess who desires to fulfill her role and make the people happy. The first episode gives a rather false impression this might be a very bland show.
Whereas the first episode lacks anything unique or interesting, the second episode immediately begins to show a great deal of promise. A significant ...

2 episodes in and the show isn't pulling any punches.
I think now that this show is two episodes in the meaning of the anime's title is probably starting to sink in. Episode one was just the calm before the storm. Episode 3 will be the turning point to see if the Princess turns into a useless mope for the rest of the series or the genius that has been hinted even in episode one or maybe a little of both. We'll also see how the new character Stella ...

What is the price of a smile? It's focus
The show's art style feels like a rainy day made for sleeping half the time but passable. The thing about a lot of stories is that they sacrifice the beginning episodes for some bigger pay off along the way. This is exactly what this show does. It takes the princess who I assume is the main character and makes her a dull razor of a character. Barely cutting through the monotony of what we would ...

Starts slow, but it's getting speed really good
    Edit after watching ep. 2
For starters, please do not be like me and judge the series by the first chapter alone because the difference between chapters 1 and 2 es important. in tone, style and thankfully in the improvement on many of the weaknesses shown in the beginning.

So, given that, Yeah!, nope and yay?
    Yeah!
Promises to have an interesting component of political intrigue. it's real ...

    The Price is... Quite Average
This is not a great or fantastic anime. Honestly it does not show great promise for an interesting and time worthy story. The mecha battles are stereotypical. The main characters are either annoying and 12 or are heartless. It is good if you want to kill time.

    You Know What Your Getting
Its a sweet and cute story about how war is hell and both sides have their own reasons for what they're doing, it has some good mecha action but the characters and premise our what's going to hook you into the show. Pick it up if you want something with a cute skin but has a premise that set's its a tone a bit darker than its charming aesthetics.

    Ep0 = ep1 + ep2, keep watching
Three episodes in, and it quickly becomes apparent there is more depth than what one sees in ep1. You don’t begin to really grasp what’s going on until the very end of ep 2, and even then there’s more depth as ep 3 turns around and shows us the perspective of conflict from the opposition side. It has a similar feel to many Gundam plots, naive exuberant youth juxtaposed by world-weary experience, ...
